On-Stage MS7201W Round Base Microphone Stand, White

Jameel seemed great. However the Amazon process he was going through made it very obvious that the customer success isn't about solving the problem, its about satisfying the customer with the least about of money.One of my items arrived with a major missing part (the base of a mic stand) and as such is completely un-usable without it. I asked whether the base can be sent to me.I was told no, I could return it for a full refund, or take a discount of 8GBP.I then proceeded to negotiate a 'discount' of 8GBP, then 10GBP from a 25GBP item which was useless without its missing part because Amazon didn't sent the individual parts anyway.I was told that 10GBP was the maximum discount which can be offered for this item. This makes no sense as the item doesn't work without all it's parts.I then complained more... said it wasn't Jameel's fault but complained very strongly about Amazon and suddenly I was offered a full refund and I can keep the item.I have no idea how the Amazon internal support process works, but this isn't a good support experience even with someone like Jameel probably trying to help me.So I ended up with a full refund (an option which should have been avaialable from the start), but only because I pushed very hard (for me). So yeah, I eventually got what I wanted, but not a good support experience.

Positives:Seems to be well builtGood heavy baseClutch is metal, not plastic so gives me more confidence for a longer life. I'll report back if I'm wrong!Good valueNegatives (all minor):The packaging was a bit, shall we say, exuberant?! So much adhesive tape was used that the box was all but destroyed by the time I'd got in to itIt would have been a bonus to find a cheap thread adaptor included.There were a few small scratches in the finish when the stand arrived. I'm using this in a studio so it's not a showstopper, but it does suggest the finish isn't so great.All in all I'm pleased with this purchase. I have a bunch of (cheaper) Pulse stands which are all fine, except I am always nervous about the plastic clutch. I will buy this brand again.

I was very surprised to see that I was sent a base only (nice and sturdy) but not what is described or shown in photos.I now see that others have had the same issue with at least one person getting the same problem twice. Others have had the pole but no base.Returning this. Don’t buy it if you need a complete unit, you’re unlikely to get one.

Absolutely disappointed that mic stand arrived on time for a session but without the round base .Just ridiculous!!And my bad for not reading reviews like i normally do before pushing the button.😒

Received the base only, without the pole, therefore absolutely useless as a mic stand. What a waste of time

Received nothing but the stand. Dont bother. Fraud.

Delivered with no base on two occasions. Returned and refunded, stand itself seemed sturdy enough but missing basic essential equipment isn't acceptable.

Useless arrived without the base Amazon tell me manufacturing issue. Terrible
