The best all-rounder at this price range. This speaker has a warmth to its sound that Sony and JBL doesn't. The sound is crisp and the bass response is in the perfect range for small rooms and good vibes. Set a slightly V-shaped custom eq and enjoy. *UPDATE* - Anker has some of the best customer service. They resolved my issue very fast. Updating my stars for sure. The Anker Brand is my favorite and first choice period. If you're looking for speaker that is clear, reasonably priced, holds a charge, compact then this is it. Didn't try to test it's "Waterproof" feature and hope to never have to. I however, was looking for something with a more full sound. I always know I'm going to have something of decent quality with Anker. If you're just looking for a good speaker with or without bass, this is the speaker. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! If you want that Bass and prefer a smaller speaker Anker Soundcore Boost is the one. PROS: Easy to connect, battery life is good, sound reaches pretty far as any Anker speaker would. Good size not too small, not too large, smoothe feel (my personal love). Good price. CONS: We'll continue off the price comment above. You get what you pay for. Regretting the purchase simply due to the sound expectation. The "Bass Up" feature is rendered useless. Zero difference in sound. I tried different genres of music as well as played a movie. There is no difference in sound which is quite unfortunate. I have a Soundcore Boost with the bass boost, so the expectation for a decent sounding boost from the same company is what I thought I was getting but I was mistaken. 99% sure I will be returning this.

I’m a very picky speaker person. I love listening to music especially dance, house, techno, and occasional rock. I want something that would have great bass while being compact and clear sound. This little guy delivers! If you download the app, you can mess with the sound and adjust the bass and other sounds to your liking. I’ve tried a few other speakers which I ended up returning. The bass was either not strong enough or they sounded muffled. I have a jbl clip which I love but wanted to try something new. This thing already traveled with me for vacation and it was a hit at a girls night in a cabin! The sound is loud, connecting to it is pretty easy, and I can walk upstairs and all around the house with my phone without loosing connection. It also has a nice auto shut off feature, if I get a phone call and talk for a long time, it’ll turn itself off after a while. Charging is easy and quick too. Overall impressed and meets all my needs!

At this point, I've had this speaker for about a year and it's worked fantastic this entire time. Battery life is great, seems to charge very quickly too. Even after as much as I use it, battery hasn't seemed to degrade. For the size of this unit, it's surprisingly loud and the sound quality is very clear. I've taken this with kayaking, gotten rained on while using it, used it in the shower, left in it a hot car and it just keeps on working. Super durable product. Anker normally nails this and this speaker is no exception.

First of all, it's smaller than I anticipated. Sound is great. Crisp and clear. Not tinny. Clean. Bass is clean and never boomy, but given the size and weight (and price), it is muted. No complaint. The BassUp button is a nice feature at low volume, and the Souncore app includes an equalizer that actually works! This will serve me well in the yard or doing chores indoors and out. Volume on board is synced with the device volume (adjust either). No microphone, so this is not a speakerphone. You can even power it off from the app (but not on, of course). Seems to be quality, no surprise there! And yes, it gets loud. So outdoor use is a win, but if you want to fill radio city music hall, you'll need a few of them. Good choice at any reasonable price. At the typical Amazon price, it's a no brainier.

Pros: - I love these speakers, I bough two of them to use as TWS with my fire TV in the bedroom. The sound separation is not great but acceptable. - The bass is thumping and fluid, not dry like Sone speakers. I love the bass. - The speakers connects easily and they both turn off when any one of them is turned off (if paired using TWS). - they are beautiful and adds a statement to the rest of the white furniture in our bedroom. - They are not super loud, but loud enough to watch some news or a movie while slowly winding down in the bed. Cons: - there is nothing to not like, really! I had this one situation when I had to reconnect the speakers as they lost their TW pairing. After that, no problem so far. The battery takes long to charge but also lasts very long. Recommend? Absolutely! 100% recommended for a small/medium room. I don't think they are the best choice for outdoors.
