Well made and fun! It took about 4-5 hours or so to complete. Some parts were a particular challenge - folding the books was much harder than it seemed because the book pages are basically one long sticker that has to be folded into pages. The rest of it wasn’t terribly difficult, although getting the tongue and groove notches to match up was sometimes tight.But I’d rather it was tight than too loose. It helps if you have a good deal of manual dexterity to be able to work with small pieces. The instruction manual is pretty clear and comes with color photos of what it is you’re putting together. (Although some of the photos are very small lol!) You will need two AAA batteries and a small bit of glue. I used Eileen‘s tacky glue which worked fine. Loved it and would definitely buy again! It was a great deal for the price.

This the CUTEST most UNIQUE Book Nook!!!I bought this as an Easter present for my 18 year old daughter who loves to read! It did take her some time to put together, but well worth it. Instructions were not the best, but doable. It was the perfect size, not too little and not too big. The light in it lights up perfectly so you can see all details inside. So cool that you just touch the top part just behind the area where the door is and it turns on and off. The only part that was wrong with this product was the back wasn't cut in the right place to house the battery pack so it's just hanging out of it. Basically it was cut on the bottom left and it should have been the bottom right where the built in box for the battery pack is located. Is that a huge problem? Not really as you are putting it in between a bunch of books and you can't see it from the front. I'm giving it a 5 because overall it's VERY cute, unique and just the coolest thing!

It’s detailed enough to feel impressive when it’s done, but not so complicated that you want to hurl it across the room halfway through.Bonus: when it’s finished, you get to slide it between your books and pretend your bookshelf has secret magical dimensions. Which it now does, obviously.Whether you're a DIY novice or a seasoned crafter, this book nook is pure joy. Grab your favorite snacks, play some lo-fi music, and build a tiny world with your bestie or your love. The perfect date night activity. Would absolutely recommend (and now I want to live in this fictional flower shop, thank you very much).

Okay. I love it. It’s gorgeous. But holy cow that was a pain in the butt to put together. Totally worth it. It fits gorgeously in my book case, looks so cute. But get ready for a rough weekend!!

My wife really enjoyed putting this one together. All the peices were there, complete, and functional. As from the photo you can see the completed set with the lights fully functional. The only complaint my wife had with this product was the glue that was provided. Maybe obtain your own glue of better quality. Very fun product, high overall quality, and a good value. This is a perfect little project peice to pass some time.

What something that adorable and you will equally love and hate putting together? Get a book nook! All pieces come on different sheets and are numbered/ labeled, with easy instructions. Some pieces are a tight fit or are in more difficult locations, so have patience! The light works like a charm and gives the scene a warm glow. Absolutely adore having it on my shelf!! Will definitely be adding more to the collection!

My wife really wanted to try building one of these so I surprised her with one and it came in yesterday; she was so excited. She and our 10 year old put it together and it took an hour and a half. It does require AAA batteries (not included) for the lighting inside. It is so cute and sits nicely on your book shelf. I’ve included photos of what it looks like in the daytime and what it looks like glowing in the dark on the shelf next to a larger book (for size reference). I definitely would recommend this book nook because it was a great price (got it on sale for like $26.99), was easy to put together, was great craftsmanship, great bonding hobby and wonderful for book obsessed people (my wife reads so much, she has a mini library going on in the bedroom). My wife recommends it and says 5/5 stars! If you’re a beginner, this is great for you.

Oh my goodness, I absolutely love and adore this. I am relatively old and it took me more than a couple of hours to do put this together. The touch button set up was a bit tricky. I dont think I did it correctly. Be sure to empty everything out of the box. The clear tape "stickers" were stuck in the box and I didnt know I had it. The whole vibe of this particular piece was so me. I was in San Diego and saw this at a booth in a huge vintage warehouse and I ordered it on Amazon accordingly so that I would have it when I returned from my vacation. I looked at other pieces but this is my favorite.
