Brilliant for rewards and imaginative play
These fake one-pound coins are absolutely brilliant. They’re really well made and look very realistic, though not identical to real coins, which is ideal for using at home. I first bought them as part of our potty training reward system, and it worked so well! my child loved collecting the coins and trading them in for little treats. Now that we’ve moved past potty training, he uses them for role play, especially for playing shop, and they’ve held up perfectly through all his games. They haven’t worn out or faded, and the quality is excellent for the price. A great little find that’s been fun and useful in so many ways.

Fun replica pound coins.
Really good replica coins. I bought these to play cards with a relative who loves to play card games and is now in a care home. It would be difficult to play with real money when visiting, but the replica money makes it fun for us all. They believe it is real money and it certainly looks real. It would be good for children to have fun with too.

Bought to be used as trolley tokens
Bought to be used for trolley tokens but unfortunately they are bigger than a pound coin so won’t fit a trolley.

Exactly as expected
I can't say much more than, they have replicated the £1 as well as they can using plastic. If you've ever used plastic money, it's exactly like that. The right size and very light (it would be nicer if play money felt more similar to real money in terms of weight). They are strong enough not to bend or snap and durable through play. Good value for money.

Wrong size!
These coins are a good likeness BUT they are too big. They are the same size as a two pound coin but with twelve sides. very disappointed as these were for a school. VERY CONFUSING for the children. Picture of plastic 'one pound' coin between an actual one pound coin and two pound coin).

bought these for making a film and despite their imperfection, they are still pretty good as a prop.
