Bought this item for my granddaughter for Christmas. Saw it in Argos catalogue but it was out of stock for weeks and they couldn't say if and when it would be back in stock. Went on Amazon site and was available to buy although it was slightly dearer but at least will have a happy granddaughter at Christmas. Worth paying a little more for it. Its well made and looks good

I bought this for the Mily Bar Kid and he absolutely loves it, takes it to bed every night when he goes to sleep. He has no chance in getting a real one due to his age

Great size, but the overall quality is disappointing, able to see a good ammoujt of stiching Very hard in places and not very "cuddlely" at all for lack of a better word. Woukd recommend for a bit lower price through.

After a family meeting filled with laughter (and some stern lessons about not shopping without permission), we decided to let him keep it. And honestly? We have zero regrets! This stuffed dachshund is soft, well-made, and surprisingly durable, considering it’s been carried, hugged, and slept on daily. It’s now his best friend, and he sleeps with it every night, proudly declaring it’s “the best dashund ever.” Honestly, the stuffed dog has been far less maintenance than a real one—no vet bills, no barking, and it’s perfectly house-trained. Oh, and to top it all off, when we took a picture to commemorate his new “pet,” we realized our son had written all over himself with marker. So now we have a photo of him, his new dachshund, and a masterpiece drawn on his own arms and legs. A parenting moment for the books! We’ve since learned our lesson about Alexa (goodbye, saved payment info!), but we’ll always laugh when we see this plush pup lounging on the couch like it owns the place. If you’re on the fence about this product—whether you’re in the market for a stuffed dog or your kid’s next “accidental” Amazon purchase—just get it. You won’t regret it, and neither will your kid!
