Awesome
Usually when I think of all metal scissors, the wobbly school ones come to mind. But not these scissors, they are tight, accurate, and sharp. If you like all metal tools, this is what you want. No plastic handle to break, they can be sterilized (steam heat, etc) and of course easily cleaned. Scissors like this can be sharpened by an expert, and what you have is a pair of scissors that will last generations.

Scissors that will outlast me!
Built like a tank, (and that may be literal) these are heavy and strong. If you’d told me before these showed up here they still made scissors like these I’d have called you a liar. My mom has a stupendous pair from the 60s, (from another company) and these are about that good. If you’re looking for solid, sharp, strong scissors buy these. They do have a few drawbacks, they aren’t as comfortable or ergonomic as some newer designed plastic-handled scissors I have, but they’re far tougher than those more comfortable ones. They also don’t have a quick-to-take-apart design, (screwed together) like some other scissor designs. But these should last forever and those usually won’t. These are also pretty heavy compared to some newer scissor designs, but you can’t have everything at the same time.If you’re looking for a super-solid pair of really sharp scissors that’ll be around for years, this is that pair. If you’re looking for a price for a pair of solid scissors that won’t make you feel like you should have been kissed first, this is that pair. (I got these for under $10)Buy em!

Supper Sharp
Great scissors with good balance. I, too found they were way too tight and had to loosen the nut a bit and now work with perfect ease.

Five stars if they start making them in USA. I would pay more.
Very nice scissors. I would buy them again. High quality in every way. There may be better little scissors out there but the difference is going to be very subtle. They don't hurt my fingers to use them. May be better balanced than plastic handled.I had two pairs of the plastic 4 inch Fiskars and they worked great. That was twelve years ago. We moved a few times and lost them both. Finally I can't stand it any more and want something easier to use than my Swiss Army knife. These are nicer and less money than the plastic handled ones. What is the down side ? Well mine are made in Mexico and not the USA. Are they ever made in the USA ? I don't know. The Mexicans did a nice job on these scissors. What else can I say ? It chapped me that when I put two of them in my cart the postage doubled. These are tiny scissors. Two pair could ship for three or four dollars. The shipping alone for two through the supplier was going to be billed at eleven dollars or more ! ! ! ! I didn't order two pair. Who knows, maybe they would have been more reasonable at the other end. I would recommend calling them to see what they can do. I wasn't entirely sure I would like the forged metal handles. I do like them just fine.UPDATE 9-8-13Pleasant Surprise !I have been watching the price and they dropped significantly so I bought the second set I wanted for my work shop.Looking at both pairs with magnification the quality seems to have increased in every way on this latest product : the polish and finish is better, the pivot is more robust and they seem to cut paper a tiny bit easier though both are fine. The Mexico label has gone away but it had no indication on them as to where they are made, Must have read my previous review.Bottom line is I am happy and still recommend these and all the more since the quality has gone up.

Fantastic!
I have several of these excellent scissors. One for each of my sewing, knitting, crocheting, embroidery and first aid kits - well, you get the idea! I also recommend the Fiskars SewSharp scissors sharpener - great for gifting with these superb little scissors. Excellent scissors, great price. Highly recommend.

Beautifully made scissors
I try not to buy anything in plastic if I can avoid it; I am done buying plastic handled scissors. Fiskars is a well known brand (my mother always bought Fiskars) and these scissors live up to the name. They are not too heavy, but much more substantial than the plastic handled kind and they are stainless steel so they are worth taking to the sharpener to have sharpened.

Nice scissors.
Nice and heavy, but feel good in your hand. Sharp. If you’re used to the cheap, plastic handled scissors from the dollar store, or your local big box office supply chain, you’ll be pleasantly surprised at what you’ve been missing.
