I am loving this Vixic Portable Label Maker Machine. I wanted a label maker that I didn't have to get my phone out to create a label. This label maker has everything you need to make labels from the built-in keyboard in just a few seconds. There is also an app you can use to create labels so that's a nice bonus. It is so easy to use. Type your label, print the label, pull the trigger to cut the label, peel the back off and stick it on whatever you want. Overall, super happy with how this is working out.

This thing works nicely and quickly. I like the app -- it even lets you upload pictures, though the conversion gives you maybe 40-60 pixels or so tall, which isn't very clear on detailed logos. It's plenty clear for text and simple logos, and it couldn't be easier to print and cut.Getting the adhesive exposed on the backside is a little finicky -- you'll need to fold the label in half and peel from the middle. The adhesive is pretty good and the top surface is plastic and durable (kind of like laminate, but more flexible and not quite so smooth). The canisters are easy to swap out and cost about 15 bucks each, which is pretty neat. I have used it for labeling shop drawers, my laptop (with my phone number just in case), and audio cables. Nothing has fallen off yet.

The media could not be loaded. There is a lot to like about the LM1600 Portable Label Maker. This electronic labeler at first glance appears very similar to others in its category, having a full qwerty keyboard, backlit screen and side-mounted cutting switch. But there aren't many that advertise a bluetooth connection to easily pair with your smartphone for custom designed labels printed via a free app! The system comes complete with the label maker itself, a pre-installed label cartridge, USB-A to USB-C charging cable and the instruction manual.Some of the features I really like include the easy to access font menu with one-touch adjustment of font size, boldness, italics and underlining. The unit has an internal, rechargeable lithium battery that can be charged using the included USB-C cable. (No charging block is included.) The easy-to-read print can be customized using a free smartphone app to add graphics, emojis or other decorative elements.What I like least about this unit is the difficulty of removing the protective backing from the labels. Very annoying. I suppose having a strong adhesive is better than a weak one, but isn't the point of using a label maker being able to quickly and easily produce the finished product? It also would have been nice to have a charging cradle and block since the unit runs solely from the non-removable, lithium battery.
