This seems to work great in the air conditioner I have. I do not use it frequently as it is extremely poisonous and should not even be handled without gloves. I have a pet and worry about any water leaking out and touching her if she gets near it, so be careful when using, but it definitely works at cleaning mildewy scents out of your air conditioner. Just a tip if you have a portable air conditioner: you have to basically shove the tablet through the grill at the back of the portable air conditioner near the bottom and ensure it's landing in the water-catcher and not just sitting against the copper wiring.

Excellent algaecide, fungicide and microbiocide. Self regulating tablets that dissolve slowly. Compatible with all hard surfaces with standing water like in HVAC, dehumidifier, condensate pump, drain, etc. Work like a charm, will buy again.

I just received these so I have no idea how they will work? I was glad I received them quickly so I could put them to use immediately. If possible, I will write another review in 3 to 6 months.
