Good counter for an MD-421mkii
Great mic for just about everything. I like it outside jazz kick drums, close up on guitar amps, even on voice or live horns. Solid mic. I tjink it’s a good mic to have around in the 421-vein. I love my 421’s and usually prefer them, but this mic surprises me sometimes.

It's got a really interesting midrange bump that makes it a great off-kilter choice for vocals
This dynamic mic thinks it's a condenser. It's got a really interesting midrange bump that makes it a great off-kilter choice for vocals. Like all mics, it'll work for some people's voices better than others, but personally I love it.

Along with the SM7 and RE20, a studio classic
A world-class dynamic mic for under $300. Great on bass, kick, electric guitar, vocals, or anywhere a highly detailed and full-range sound is needed without the crisp, 'fast' response of a condenser. If your room is short of perfect, try it as a distant drum mic...

What it says it is
It arrived on time, was as described. I gave this as a gift, and I'm not a singer, but the person I gave it to, says it's wonderful.

A Classic from Beyer
This mic is awesome. Used by a lot of pros for instrument mic'ing particularly kick drums. Some use it for vocals but I didn't care for it in that application. For vocals I preferred the Beyer M69 TG

Perfect
I love the sound from this one. It sounds a bit vintage, maybe. Warm and very precise. It captures the attack of each tone on my mandolin perfectly.
