A little beast!
There are a lot of different manufacturers of these small flush-cut saws and, it seems, they're all made in China. Same teeth (14/17), etc. so, I thought I'd try the "cheaper" version. I will say, this little saw is an amazing little tool! While the size is limiting, the teeth are aggressive enough to get easily through black walnut & other hardwoods like maple & oak. The fine teeth side went smoothly through some fir I had but, it's my fault for not using a sacrificial backer piece to eliminate tear out. I was so excited using the thing I simply forgot! Don't put good habits "on pause" & you'll be satisfied using this saw in all sorts of woodworking applications. I was reluctant in spending more on the "higher end" spectrum as they all seemed to have similar characteristics. I can't compare this to the more expensive models where it appears just a difference in handles is the only variance. I would guess some tool "purists" might feel differently however, this little guy is worth every penny. Happy I added this to my tool arsenal for making quality cuts.

Super Handy Saw – Smooth, Precise Cuts Every Time
This saw is seriously impressive. Unlike regular saws that need a ton of effort to push through wood, this one works on the pull stroke, making cutting way easier and more precise. The blade is super thin and sharp, so it slices through wood like butter. Plus, it has two different types of teeth—fine on one side and coarser on the other—which means you can switch it up depending on the job.The wooden handle feels great in hand—solid grip, comfy to hold, and gives you total control while cutting. I’ve used it for all sorts of woodworking, and it always leaves clean, smooth edges. It’s honestly a game-changer compared to traditional saws because you don’t have to use as much force, which means less fatigue. If you’re into DIY or woodworking, this is a must-have. It’s well-made, easy to use, and delivers great results. Definitely worth it

Great saw, probably not durable.
Best saw I've ever used, despite being a cheap knockoff of Japanese saws. It's already starting to get some wobble though, but I'll glue that soon. If I had to nitpick, it also LOVES to hang onto sawdust, choking up the teeth, but that doesn't seem to get in the way.But man, this thing zips right through most of the wood I throw at it.

was so easy to use
lots of pictures to share. I had an old bush out front i wanted gone. The base and some limbs were bigger then my clippers could handle. As I was looking at this I thought well I should check online . This was rated the top on any list I looked at. Plus they shipped fast. It comes with two guards to go over the saw blades. The box was a little mashed but imo that didnt matter one bit. My son was going to do most of it, we made plans the next day. While he was out running errands I thought, ill try and see how well it works lol.....I couldn't stop cutting! lol I was so impressed at the ease of it I did all but the bottom trunk parts. Now I have more sun coming to my orange and rose. Plus there is satisfaction getting it done yourself. Im not spry like my son anymore. But this was easy to use and made me feel capable. I rinsed with water and laid it out to dry then recovered the blades. I so highly recommend this. Im showing you pictures of the branches and trunk . I wouldn't go higher in thickness as it bends...so only as thick in the photos.

Great value
Understand that I've never used a japanese pull saw before. This saw so far is supper easy to use. Just let the blade do the work. Cuts fast and clean and cut flush without damaging the adjacent surface.

Compact / Sharp / Durable.
This Japanese pull saw is perfect for my needs. I was specifically looking for a compact and precise tool to trim dowels off joints, and this saw is perfect. Its small size allows for exceptional control, making intricate cuts effortless. The blade is incredibly sharp, so handle it with care. The handle is good sized , fitting comfortably even in larger hands. Overall, this was an excellent purchase, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking precision and quality in a compact saw.
