Callow Retail Powerful Petrol Grass Trimmer Brushcutter - 2 Stroke

Bought this product in April 2015, so its been used a maximum of 20 times on an average size garden, doing the edges only. It stopped working and have been told it needs new carburettor gasket, which means it has to be fully stripped down. Oh and if you can get hold of anyone at Hecht, in Czech Republic and pay in euro's, but you need to do that direct to their bank and understand the lingo, then the very best of british to you.you gets what you pays for......

Easy to assemble and start but the bump feed line doesn't really work as the line seizes up within the strimmer head and has to be removed to free it and lengthen it. Removing the head and replacing it isn't straightforward and it's easy not to secure it properly whereby it launches the head cover like a frizby when you next fire it up. However it's light and efficient and effective on domestic verges.

did have a few probs but have it all sorted now.excellent item very pleased with stimmer.thank you very much.and a very good company indeed.

Very cheaply built, tends to push the grass instead of cutting it. had to do a modification with the fuel feed pipe as it was jamming in the throttle. the vibration through the handle means after just 20 minutes my hand was numb.

Inexpensive but well designed and well made strimmer. Lightweight yet powerful. Easy start and runs reliably. Just used 3 times but impressed so far, best bent shaft strimmer I've ever had. Hope positive experience continues.

used it only once so far. worked great! easy to put together, and light to hold and use. started up after a few pulls, away i went! A++
