Lifesaver - esp on long trips 5hrs or more
This was the lifesaver right here when our son was a toddler up to kindergarten at least and especially when traveling from our home in MD to NC and OH. It may have been up to first grade. It was so worth it to purchase!!He is eight and I still keep this (wrapped in a gallon zip loc bag), along with other items in a yellow reusable bag in my trunk, just in case lol. The other items are a paper towel roll, toilet seat, toilet covers, Lysol wipes, Dawn to clean it on the go, a big towel, and kept extra underwear and clothes in a separate Cookie Monster book bag. It might sound like overkill 🤣 but too many times we needed these things and I hate not being prepared! Lol

Easy to use. Spill free. Works great
I’m a boy mom. This is a Lifesaver for awkward outdoor emergencies. Easy to use and highly recommend it especially when public bathrooms are too filthy to even breath at.

The big kids version of the elephant urinal
This product is the new upgrade “big kids” version of the elephant urinal. We’ve used the elephant urinals for at least 2 years for 2 boys. We’ve had to replace them once over that time because I forgot about them once for days in the summer heat and the plastic absorbed the pee smell way too strongly so I threw out and replaced. That was user error; nothing wrong with the urinal itself. If you clean it out within about 24ish hours, it’s totally fine.At this time, my boys are old; 5yo. So when they pee, it’s a lot. The elephant urinal is made for toddlers; it leaks at the seam from the force and quantity of big kid pee. So it was time to upgrade.I liked better about the elephant urinal that the elephant one fits perfectly in any cup holder in the car; door cup holders, console cup holders, and even store-bought extra cup holders we have. This model, the base is much too wide to fit in any cupholder. I was able to buy an adjustable mesh drawstring pouch that hangs on the back of a headrest to hold this one.I do not believe this one holds more as the info claims. The elephant is thinner, but much taller. This one is short and fat. Seem pretty much the same in volume. This one does have a rubber plug to keep it from leaking. I saw several reviews of people complaining that when their elephant was full of pee, they laid it on their floorboard and let it roll around the car, it then leaked. I can’t even imagine why anyone would think that’s a good idea to store it haphazardly like that when it fits snuggly into any cupholder, but at least for those people, this one has a rubber stopper might keep it from leaking if you decided to throw it on your floorboard once it’s full of pee. I think I would only really trust the stopper to contain the smell and splashing though. So if you have young toddlers, I recommend the elephant one (my boys thought it was really neat to pee into an elephant nose). If your kids are closer to 4 and up, I would recommend this one. Just put some thought into how you will store either; laying them on their side is not ideal for either of these.

Perfect for potty training
So far it works well size is small and easy to carry. Helps potty train my son in areas where a toilet isn’t easily available. And it’s easy to open it and wash as well as to keep it leak proof.

Perfect for busy families!
There are some days we live in our car with the amount of activities and errands we have. We had a different urinal at first, and it leaked and was very obvious a urinal. We got this one and it’s never leaked, and it’s not glaringly obvious that my kid pees in it. Its great! For road trips, and for park trips, for every day business! We empty and wash it out at the end of every day used and I don’t know how we ever lived without it.

Ease of mind!
Okay, I’m a boy mom and if you have a son this is a MUST! Especially if you have a toddler who is in the middle of potty training or just finished training. My son is 2.5 years old. He is fully potty trained now. We do keep this in the car with us for those situations where he can’t hold it until we get home. We honestly bring this with us everywhere we go. To the mall, zoo, you name it.The lid is hard to open, we found it easier to use the lanyard to help pop open the lid.No leakage at all and definitely holds a lot of urine. The silicone lid that pops into the hole is secure. My son had fun using this portable potty. He preferred using this over the actual toilet in the beginning!Worth the buy for boy parents!
