Cen-Tec Systems93367 Central Vacuum Attachment Kit, Gray

We purchased a home that had a central vacuum system and all the components were about 30 years old. I replaced the hose and wanted a spare one for the garage so I purchased this one.Compared to the other two hoses that fit into the wall just fine, this one is just a bit too big. It can fit, but it takes some muscle to do so. It works fine, but be prepared to sand the connection down a bit to make it fit.

This is replacing a turbocat on a 2018 vaccumaid systemPro's:- the value is amazing. For less than the cost of one turbocat, get a whole accessories pack- I like that I can use one attachment for wood floors and carpet. Before I was switching back and forth- the hose is significantly longer than the one I had beforeCon's:- The attachment for carpet doesn't pick up quite as well as turbocat and requires more effort to push it (I'm telling myself its a good arms work-out!) It does the job but requires a little more effortOverall very pleased.

Not 1.25 " as described, its 1 1/2" and needs an adapter for another wait and ten bucks. Im getting tired of poor product descriptions at Amazon. Returning products or throwing them away if its too inconvenient to return, making rethink my Amazon involvement. Two large purchases, over $2000 each, i just cant do with them based on trust. I don't trust their transactions anymore. Two years ago, they were golden, beginning the end of 2019, the number unsatisfactory transactions, bad descriptions, soured food products, damaged shipping, never sent items, never received items, damaged or defective items... the list goes on. I will be returning this as it doesn't fit, and I'm not going out to buy an adapter. Hey Amazon, stop trying to sell me the Hobie Mirage Kayak, the Liebert refrigerator, the power washer or anything else... i am no longer likely to buy stuff over $35 from Amazon. Another disappointing transaction. . Its become as much of a pain as convenience shopping at Amazon.

Just bought a new house with central vac. Never had one before. Previous owners left us an ancient hose and vacuum that would leave a trail of dirt and crumbs. We were convinced the central vac didn’t work and almost bought a shark.Luckily I tried this first!!! Super lightweight and thin and works like a charm. My house is clean! Lots of accessories to get into corners and couch cushions. Very happy with purchase. Highly recommended!

So glad I replaced the set that came with my house. They were 30 years old. Taped up and leaking. It’s like have an entirely new vacuum. As some have reported the new multi surface head ( carpet to hard floors) does sometimes flip down from hard floors to carpet on me. I just pay attention and flip the lever back to hard floors and no problem. I really like the telescoping wand, no more adding or subtracting a section to adjust height.

The hose does twist out of the piece that goes into the central vacuum wall port. Easily goes back, haven't tried teflon yet to hold it.

So fits into Beam outlets. Very happy with cord and hand tools. The piece intended for the floor is a waste.My Beam also has an additional electric outlet/plug. This does not. So it isn't up to Beam standards but at 1/5 the price it is a fantastic value.

Right out of the box, this floor attachment was dirty, but I could get over that. This is a side view. It scratched up my hardwood floors immediately. There is no buffer or padding. Just plastic and metal and it is poorly designed :-( and now I have scratches to deal with. Also, there’s not as much suction to this hose as the one I am replacing. I guess you get what you pay for!
