I use this when i am bloated or jusr feel wrong in the tummy department I add a few drops to hot water Yes it does look oilly on the top of the water but you do not notice this when drinking it Always clears any tummy upset or pain withing minutes good for heart burn too

Great flavour
This was packed really well when arrived (covered in bubble wrap). The flavour is really good. I tried it in some mint truffles the other day and only used 1tsp for a batch of 15 large truffles. It flavours them really well. I wouldn't recommend over using the flavour as I feel it would start to make this as taste artificial.

The best quality and taste
I use Steenbergs products as they are always excellent quality. It’s a family run business situated in North Yorkshire and I’ve never had to wait more than a couple of days for goods to be delivered. I’ve drunk their green tea for many years and now look for their produce when I need to buy spices/flavourings.

I think it’s a bit of too strong for me, so I’ve changed to the other peppermint extract.

Perfect
This item was not bought for its intended use however bought for someone going through chemo treatment. As mint sweets were no longer a suitable option a few drops this was diluted with water and help stop and or reduce nausea.

Powerful!
This is a quality product and unlike with some cheap essences, you really only need a tiny drop! Beautiful uplifting peppermint flavour. Lovely to find this organic product.

A diluted and very weak flavoring extract.
I just made my regular chocolate mint mousse cake but it was completely ruined by this peppermint extract. The glowing reviews here motivated my purchase so I'm pretty surprised that it is really not a quality product. Mind you, I had to double the quantity when using steenbergs extract for my recipe because while baking, I tasted my mousse, icing and ganache after my regular quantity of 1 & a half teaspoons in each but nothing came through. Now even after doubling that quantity, my family and I are tucking into the finished cake and having to remind ourselves that we are, in fact, eating a mint cake! Not a hint of peppermint is coming through!! Am I to triple my regular quantity? If that's the case, this turns out to be an ineffective product. Well, this was my first purchase and it goes without saying that it will be my last. I shall be reverting to lorann oils from now on. Steenbergs feels like a very diluted flavouring. Oddly, you can smell the mint but as a flavouring, it's devoid of any potency. Better luck to all.
