How far from the wall is the rod? I want to put this rod over my deck door that has vertical blinds.

I am not sure exactly, but it's only about 1-1 1/2 Inches from the wall. You could of course get a different bracket that would bring it out further.

I feel just awful about my delay. It turns out I only have ONE spare one. I thought I had two spares...I used three on my 94" wide space and it seems to be really very strong. If you still want the one I will pop it in the mail promptly. I apologize. Life!

How many peices make up the full length of the rod? Does it have 2 or 3 sections and are the finials removable?

I don't remember how many pieces there are. I have a 12 + foot window and a 7 foot window and I used 3 rods. I have 2 pieces at the 7 foot window and 4 pieces at the 12 foot window. The finials are removable.

Are the finials that come with this product metal or plastic?

No, They are metal. This is a really nice curtain rod, but it is large.
