The first single "Fire" premiered as BBC radio 1's "hottest record in the world". Initial press coverage includes Pitchfork, Stereogum and RollingStone. Beth ditto will be touring the us in july and performing at festivals overseas. She will also be performing on the late late show with James Gordon week of album release. This is her solo debut album after being with the gossip.

Beth Ditto is "Fire"
The title should have been "Fire", the whole album is great. This woman is talented and can really sing, not like the auto-tune untalented young ladies that are so called singers this days and played all over the radio. She should be more famous but I guess she doesn't fit the image of todays so called singers. My favorite songs are "Fire", "Oo La La", "Go Baby Go". Buy this album, you won't regret it. Money well spent.

Great music!
Love this CD! I just came back to order a 2nd one so I can have one in the house and one in the car. I originally bought it for Oo La La after I heard part of it on an Ebay commercial. In fact, went on the internet to find out who sang the song because of the commercial. Every song is good. Get this music, you won't regret it :)

Vibrant, emotional, alive...a stellar debut.
Beth has crafted a gorgeous album full of soaring vocals, delicious hooks and heartfelt emotion. She is a real deal vocalist in a sea of auto-tuned pole dancers. In a better world, she'd be a bigger star. She's up there with Adele. Actually, I think her vocals are more primal and urgent than Adele. Don't delay, purpose this album without hesitation. It's brilliant and each song stands on its own.

Phenomenal album, reminiscent of Janis Joplin and Grace Slick, so soulful and smart and hip-shaking good. Real music. Beth's voice is ah-mazing and she knows how to hook you with a line and a moan. Honestly there's not a bad track on this record; every song wins. JUST GET IT.

Beth Ditto rocks my world!
I loved her in The Gossip and her other solo work so I knew I would probably like this album. I LOVE this album, almost every song is amazing. I bought a copy for my best friend also.

Brilliant Beth!
Fantastic solo album from Ms Ditto with every single song a delight to listen to. From the 'up up up' catchiness of 'Fire' to the cheer leader routine beats of 'Oh La La', Beth's vocals deliver each track with style and warmth. Final track 'Clouds' is truly beautiful and 'We Could Run' is a chorus led wonder which belongs on a film soundtrack.Album of the year so far? I think so.
