Great product
I purchased the HairMax Laser Brush on October 10, 2024, with high hopes for improving my thinning hair and receding hairline. To my surprise, the product actually delivered results my hair went from thin and brittle to noticeably thicker, and I even started seeing a lot of baby hairs grow in. For that, I truly appreciate what the device has done for me.However, I am disappointed that it didn’t even last a full year. It lasted a total of 2 and a have months. The brush has stopped charging completely, which is frustrating for an investment like this. While the results were great while it worked, the durability of the product is concerning.I’d like to know if there’s any way to get this product replaced or repaired. I’ll be reaching out to customer service and hope they can provide a solution. If anyone has experience with their warranty or replacement process, I’d love to hear about it. This device worked wonders, and I’d really like to continue using it if possible.

There's good and bad. I ended up bad.
First off, I bought the product directly from Amazon in mid May and I had the product about seven or eight weeks before returning it for a refund. Although the Amazon 30 day refund window had passed, I contacted HairMax and they gave me no problem at all with the return and refunded my money. So, a big plus for Hairmax in that regard. In regard to the device, it couldn't be easier. Charge it, turn it on and you're ready to go. There are two buttons on the top of it: One for the power and one for the 4 second beep, which you can turn off by pushing the button again, if you don't want it. Cleanup is easy: The teeth are easily removed and secured back in place. My experience was mixed overall but ended negatively.I started off with a pretty good head of hair and if I'd had to put it on a scale, I'd say it was a Norwood 1. I'm in my early 50s and have had a total of 6 hair transplants since 1998. I take finasteride and supplements, like biotin. Since barbershops and hair salons were closed in my area due to Covid, my hair had started to grow long, so I thought longer hair might be a nice change - if only my hair were a bit thicker. Well, I started reading about laser devices and chose the Hairmax. I was very excited, waiting to get it.Usage was easy: Use it on damp, product free hair. I'd wash my hair, towel dry to where it was damp, sit down in front of the TV, set a timer for 11 minutes and move the comb every time the beep went off. I know they say that it's doesn't burn but a couple of times, I actually felt a sting from it. It wasn't horrible but I still felt. It's made known both by HairMax and reviews that some people may experience shedding and that it's normal. For the first 3 or 4 weeks, I didn't really notice shedding and maybe that was due to the fact that I had a good head of hair to start with but then, about 6 weeks in, I went to comb my hair in the morning and noticed how thin my hair had become. Obviously, I'd been shedding all along. My hair in the front and above the temples had become VERY thin - as in, you could count the hair strands individually and easily. At that moment, I decided that I wasn't going to keep using the comb. There was absolutely no way that I was going to see how thin it would become and how long I'd have to wait before and if regrowth would occur. That's when I returned it for a refund. Now, I'm extremely worried. The formerly good head of hair that I started with is now very noticeably thinner, after using the HairMax comb. At this point, it looks like all of those years that I'd spent getting hair transplants have been wasted. It's been roughly a month since I've returned the device and I see no regrowth of any kind at all (even stubble) in the areas that have shed. All I can do is hope that the shed areas have gone into a dormant phase and will grow back in.Had I known that I'd end up like this, I would never, under any circumstances, have bought this device.*** Update ****I've had to change my review and give this device one star. If I could give it negative stars, I would. PLEASE, listen to me when I tell you to avoid using this thing at all costs, unless you want to lose your hair. I read all of the positive reviews and supposed great results and figured it was worth a try, since the manufacturer tells you that if you were to stop using the device, your hair would go back to where it was before you started using it, which is a complete and utter lie. Don't believe it - they're just trying to sell another device.Well, it's been 6 months since I've stopped using the laser comb and without question, this device absolutely destroyed my hair.I started with a good head of hair and was hoping for just a bit more thickness and what I got was the worst nightmare that I could imagine. It has thinned my hair out so badly that it's just individual strands in the front and on the side where I part my hair. The density has been demolished and there is no regrowth at all. The good head of hair I had is gone. I'm so frustrated and upset by this that I just want to bury my head and scream. PLEASE, PLEASE, do yourself a favor and don't touch it, because you might end up like me and I wouldn't wish this hell on anyone.

As far as Price value vs other Products...
I recently purchased the 9 and while it's too early to offer results. I would suggest to anyone interested in trying the Laser to Buy this one. It's the lowest price and yes you have to do the most work using this version. However no pain no gain is the saying... There is no guarantee this is going to work. After doing research the other more expensive versions basically are for convenience... Putting a helmet or hat on your head and sitting there and not having to move your hand... I'd say is not worth spending hundreds of Dollars more... Especially since there is no guarantee it's going to even work. The 9 is lightweight and cordless and also automatically turns off after 12 minutes letting you know your session is over. I'd argue having to move it over your scalp over the 12 minutes back and forth gives you a much better chance of it working rather than just putting a helmet/hat or band on your head and having it sit there. If it doesn't help at least I only blew $162.

It works
When I started using this two years ago, almost, I didn’t know if it would work or not, but I was willing to try. Almost 2 years later and I have a head full of hair as a 63-year-old postmenopausal woman I never expected this to be so good. My hair is almost as thick as it was in high school. I highly recommend this product.
