Leather cord is weak and has a foul odor.
Product appears well made but is very weak. It will not bear up under even moderate people tension! Do not plan to use this to lace or bind anything! Also, if you plan to wear it as a bolo tie, give yourself a good long lead time. It has a foul odor. I have had mine for more than three months and it still stinks. I know exactly where the unused portion is at all times due to the odor.

Strong chemical smell
There is no way this is real leather... if it was, then this stuff was majorly bastardized.It has this terrible plastic chemical smell. I was hoping the first would air out but after more than a week hanging up it hasn’t subsided. The feel and texture is like braided phone cord...I would look for a different brand. I’ve bought from several different suppliers of “leather cord” some are great, this is the worst.

Very strong
Pretty sturdy and durable. Has a nice color and shine to it. Has a really strong chemical smell. I’ll have to air it out but I’m excited to see what jewelry pieces I can make with it. It’ll be my first time using leather products in my products.

I have used other brands of braided leather for some time..
It was sold as real leather. I as sure it is plastic.

Leather braiding
Strong tight braiding. Great for crafting and jewelry making. Would be nice if you could get a larger quantity.

Better than the picture
The braided leather is a pretty shade and I have made a bracelet and a necklace with it. The braiding is tight and looks better in person.

good price not 3 mm
The product was fine but it is not 3 mm. It is only 2 mm. A bit disappointed, but made it work.
