An impulse buy, but I found a great use for it!
I bought the Ergodyne Arsenal 5870 Tool Roll-Up because it just seemed so well built, and I was not disappointed! This is the highest quality tool roll I have ever seen, and the colors are very handsome. Problem is I guess I didn't actually need a tool roll, because it stayed unused for about a year, until I had an epiphany! I had been struggling with my reciprocal saw blade collection, until I realized this would be the perfect thing. At first I hesitated to sacrifice such a nice tool roll, but after I put my blades in I wondered why it took me so long! The blades are well protected, insulated from the bags they are ultimately carried in and the tools they are carried with. Organization is easy using the multiple dividers and there is a very nice handle that makes carrying your blade collection to the job site comfortable. The bulletproof construction of the tool roll makes me believe that it will stand up well to the abuse that inevitably accompanies a reciprocal saw. When possible I keep the blades in the sleeves they came in to protect the tool roll but I do not hesitate to put in unprotected blades in. When unrolled there are plenty of differently sized pockets to organize the blades but when it is rolled up it takes the smallest possible space. I highly recommend this roll as a durable, spacious and ergonomic way to store, transport and organize your reciprocal blade collection! This item and a reciprocal saw Milwaukee 6519-31 12 Amp Sawzall Reciprocating Saw Kit , or Bare-Tool Makita BJR182Z 18-Volt LXT Lithium-Ion Cordless Reciprocating Saw (Tool Only, No Battery) WITH blade attached AND Bosch PS60-2A 120V 12V Pocket Reciprocating Saw all fit inside Bucket Boss 06049 GateMouth Long Boy Tool Bag nicely! My tools are FINALLY organized!
I've been trying to think of a way to deal with the jumble of tools in my toolbox and I finally found it. This tool roll is awesome! The material is tough and durable. The plastic clips hold well. The storage pockets are perfect for the replacement blade cases for my utility knives. The carry handle makes it very easy to transport just the tools I need without having to dig through the toolbox or, even worse, lug that heavy toolbox around the house. And the price is excellent. I couldn't be more pleased with this tool roll. Now that I have my basic, everyday tools organized and accessible, I'm getting 2 more of these tool rolls to organize my specialty tools and the tools I need to carry in my truck. Definitely recommend! Update October 2013: Well I've had three of these for a year and a half now. One has my basic tools (screwdrivers, pliers, etc.). One holds a 200 piece socket set -- the ratchets fit in the slots and I put the sockets on socket rails which also fit very nicely. The third roll has my knives, chisels, snips and other cutting tools which I don't use as often. Everything I've put in this tool roll fits (except a hammer). The material these tool rolls are made of is very durable and has held up well. The clips are still in one piece and working just fine to keep the roll closed. The handles are still attached. And my tools are still organized!!!

Still alive after 3 years
3 year review - the tool pouch itself has held up well; the strap latches are the weak link. Ever since the roll was new I found that the latches were difficult to disconnect and they eventually broke after about a year. I now just tie the straps in a bow to keep the roll closed. I would classify my use-case as DIY moderate. The roll isn't used daily in a shop setting.

You cant go wrong with Ergodyne
You cant go wrong when you purchase anything made by Ergodyne. Exceptional durability and quality products. I first stumbled upon them by accident when I needed new suspenders for my tool bags and purchased some from Ergodyne because they were the only ones in Amazon that fit my needs and that I liked. Ever since that day 7 years ago they are my go to for many of my work related needs. This roll up tool pouch is no exception to their standards, you can overload them toss them around and just generally beat the hell out of them and they will still work just the same as the day you bought them. My favorite thing about this company is the quote they chose to use for their company; "Let me tell you the secret that has led me to my goal. My strength lies solely in my tenacity."-Louis Pasteur

A really great tool bag!
This toolkit holds so many tools, I mean an amazing amount of stuff! I have a full set of screw driver, adjustable pliers set, Vise Grip pliers set, needle nose pliers set, 1/4" ratchet set with the 1/4" metric sockets and a 1/4" metric hex key socket set in the small pouches, 2 adjustable wrenches, wire strippers and a few other various tools. Everything stays in securely, with no worries about things falling out once it's rolled up and straps are closed. Just roll it up, connect the 2 quick release pinch clasps and cinched it up. It takes up very little space even when it's packed with all of my tools. Really well made of sturdy ballistic nylon, very good construction and it looks great. I have no doubts that it will last a very long time. I am really glad I got this. It keeps my tools neat and organized and I can always find what I need right away and since it holds so much it is pretty much all I need to grab if I am doing some work on my motorcycle or if I'm fixing stuff around the house. A fantastic value, it's worth much more than the actual price to me. I really can't say enough good things about this handy toolkit roll. Just get it!

Best quality and value for my money.
Best tool roll around. Tried nearly every other known brand on amazon, from dickies, carhartt, bucketboss, clc, as well as a few non name-brand rolls. This is by far the best. I wound up returning all the other ones with the exception of the carhartt mode which I liked, not loved. This ergodyne roll is one I loved, in fact I bought a second one. I also ordered 3 of the wrench rolls and the assorted zippered pouches. These have been the best items I have purchased to get my tool boxes and tools organized. They offer the best quality for a very fair price and/or the best design and quality for a price justifiable in the aspect that these will not wear out anytime soon. I used to like this brand for my work gloves, but trying even more of their products I’m becoming an even bigger fan.

I am very pleased...
With this product I have found something that I can actually put tools in. There are pleny if pockets of varius sizes and they are plenty deep to hold tools in place. I'm not sure about holding indavidual sockets but I used mine to hold wrenches and pliers. A single pocket is too small for most pliers but if you put one handle in one of the pckets and the other grip in the neighboring pocket and so on you can load this thing up. I even got some Craftsman roll ups and they don't hold anything the way one would really want them to. There are some smalll shallow pockets on one end that can hold small, short or stuby tems and these pockets do have a velcro flap that folds over these pockets. The buckles that holds the roll up shut are adjustable depending how thick the roll up gets when you finaly roll is up. I like the carrying strap as well. I don't see anything wrong with roll up at all.

Nice Tool Roll
I got this tool roll to help me organize tools for my work. I travel a lot and wanted a better way to organize various hand tools besides just throwing them in a tool bag. The roll has a good variety of pocket sizes. The narrowest pocket is just large enough for a sharpie marker. I have found that you need to be careful about which tools are placed near the end of the roll section. If the fit is to loose the tool might fall out when you pick the bag up by the handle. Not a big deal, just something to be aware of. Overall, I am very pleased with the quality of the materials and the construction and the buckles are very quick to use. Good deal for the price and it makes it very easy to see if any tools are missing when I pack up at the end of the job. Might be buying some more of these for use around the home.
