Very good quality accurate.. the rubber gives good grip but some times slipper when moving But over all very best

Accurate but..
This is a standard high quality product but it arrived with a a curve so when you glide it across the chart and wish to draw a straight long line, you might get an error of upto 2 degree high or low. I recommend buying a 20 inch.

When you are taking ASA 105/205 you really can't make any errors greater than 2-3 degrees. When you are using the big 1210TR chart, these are a big help and greatly increased my accuracy, which allowed me to pass ASA 205.

While it won't be used too often...the oversized parallel rules are a nice addition to the tool bag. Weems & Plath makes a great product.

If you are studying for your OUPV License like I was, this is a must for your charting problems. I suggest that you add this to your plotting equipment as it makes plotting longer distances much easier and with less movements of the parallel ruler. The 12" parallel ruler that most courses provide is just too short. This item is of great quality, but does take more effort to prevent movement while walking the ruler to different areas of your chart.

This 24" is the perfect size for working with the larger folding charts. Improved accuracy over the smaller model. Save those for a chart kit book.
