Oliver Smith - Organic Cotton - 12 Inch - Firm Mattress - Cool Memory Foam & Pocket Spring Mattress - Green Foam Certified - Twin

This is my second Oliver Smith mattress purchase from Amazon. I purchased the previous one for my daughter and she loved it. That mattress was comfortable and has got really good quality. That’s why we ordered another one for the master bedroom. Shipping was fast and packaging was good. But after we unpacked it there was this strong smell. I opened the windows (in this cold weather) for days and hoped the smell fade away. It has been 6 days and the smell is still there. Now I noticed the black mark that looks like mold. I don’t know what to do but I will never order any mattress from Amazon.

Unfortunately ours was defective and after only a month and a half the coils seemed to have separated on one corner of the mattress creating a soft depression on it. Obviously returning a mattress is not easy and the seller didn’t agree to a refund unless we did so, only the mattress transportation and the shipping costs more than the mattress itself. So we had to flip it over.

I knew I was in trouble when our really strong Fed Ex man showed up with this bed in a box on his dolly. It was a struggle for this old woman to get it up the stairs but I was determined. I decided to open it on the box spring which was probably my first mistake. Cutting away the cardboard was not a problem. While old I still split my cordwood. Once the cardboard was removed I noticed it was wrapped in heavy plastic. Grabbing the scissors I started cutting. All went well until my last snip. KA-BOOM!!! Dang thing exploded from it's previously feted restraint system and tossed me across the room and into the wall. Stunned but happy I wasn't toss out the second story window. Yes, I had read the packaging and noted that it might take 48 hours for it to relax to what it should be. There was nothing relaxing about this exploding mattress. Other than the inital kiss of death, it's a great. mattress but please be very careful with that last cut.

I was a bit skeptical about ordering a mattress from a website instead of going to a store and testing the mattress before the purchase. However, I took a risk and purchased a 12 in Oliver Smith-Organic cotton full size mattress. I love it! When you un box it, it expands and extends to its intended size. It has a gel top as well; there was a scent from the mattress once you unbox and unravel it. But it goes away as soon as you air it out for a bit (2-3) days.

I am in complete shock at how comfortable this bed is. I will admit that I was nervous about purchasing a bed from Amazon without testing it out. But I convinced my boyfriend that it would be a good deal and took a leap of faith. We are head over hills in love with the level of comfort and excellent quality this bed provides. Extremely happy and highly recommend.

I already have a Oliver Smith Twin Firm $50 mattress... so i Received this (Queen) almost 5 days early. Shipping came damaged- mattress has a scuff in the corner and plastic was already tore open. The mattress itself... thank GOD! I needed a new mattress bad, and this feels GREAT! Nice and firm, SUPER SOFT! Nice and thick, so far a great quality mattress.

Was way beyond our expectations. Took care of our immediate needs. Shipping was fast. Came in an fairly small box when considering what it was. It was rolled up and vacuum sealed. Be careful to open in a space large enough to accommodate it's final appropriate size as it expands to the advertised size. It has the strength needed and is quite comfortable. WELL worth the money. We feel this mattress is a Great Buy! Very happy with this purchase
