Useful little device
Great little device. Got it in order that I could continue to use my external hard drive which relies on 2 USB-A ports. This device plugs into the USB-C in my new laptop and works well for my external HDD. Item was delivered quickly as well.

Nice and stable, good quality.
I've been using this with my laptop for Ethernet networking and extending the USB - I'm only using it with a keyboard and mouse and RJ45 Ethernet cable for network and it gets just a bit warm to the touch, it'd be nice if it stayed cold like all my other USB hubs but I assume this is due to the network port. UGREEN have always been one of the best for USB Network stability and this remains true here. WoL can be used if required it does work when configured. It uses a ASIX AX88179 USB 3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter USB\VID_0B95&PID_1790

If you need a network port for a MacBook Air without losing port space, this is it!!
Bought for a MacBook Air 4. I already had a USB A network adaptor plugged in via another as you are supposed to be able to daisychain them together if they’re all USB. However when I tried this, I got no network signal at all on a standard network cable instead I bought this plugged it in and perfect full power Internet speed straight away. If you’re finding you can’t get a network connection on a cable with your Mac, it’s well worth trying this little dongle that’s a cheap way of expanding them rather Mega number of ports the Apple give you.

Great value and quickly delivered
Exactly as expected and shipped quickly as always. I will use this virtually every day in the near future with a new MacBook Air M5 so it will be interesting to gauge build quality which looks excellent.

Not for Logitech MX connectors
Nice hub but my Logitech MX Mouse USB-A plug didn’t work well. The mouse jittered across the screen. I had to resort to Bluetooth which worked fine.

Works great with MacBook Pro
Bough this superb little product to extend the range of connection options available to my 16" 2021 MacBook Pro with M1 Pro. I chose this particular model of hub because it provides a great balance between conventional ports (2 x USB-A) whilst still extending the range of high speed USB-C ports. It also features an ethernet connector - something sadly lacking from modern MacBook Pros - and a USB-C charging port for your phone. Installation is a no-brainer as it's fully plug and play - just plug it in and all the ports become active. Performance seems pretty good too with read/write operations via the USB-C ports still running at a very high speed. It is looks rather dapper too, even if the space grey finish doesn't quite match my MacBook Pro. All in all, I'm pleased with it, especially at the price I paid (about £15 delivered).

Stable and well built, but strange USB speed issue with external drive
Overall, this USB-C hub is stable and works well. Ethernet is reliable and for most devices the USB ports perform as expected. However, I did run into a strange issue when connecting my external Seagate 8TB 3.5” drive to one of the USB-A ports. For some reason it only connected at USB 2.0 speeds, giving me around 20 MB/s transfer rates, which was very odd for a hub rated at 10Gbps. Aside from that, everything else has been solid, so it’s still a good hub — just something to be aware of if you’re planning to use it with large external drives.
