ProKeeper Produce Container, 3-Quart – Stay-Fresh Vent System for Small Peppers and Tomatoes, BPA-Free

I bought these a few years ago, mainly for food prep in advance. I keep my prepped veggies in the container and love how easy it is to pre prep, store, and stack the containers so I can see what I have. I bought some of those green bags, and yes they work but I can't see what I have nor does it use the refrigerator space as well. Prepping for another surgery, and decided this will be the best way to handle prepping fruits and veggies for easy meals.

If you pay attention to the guidelines for humidity and airflow, they work great. I buy cherries a lot during the warmer months, and these containers make them last long enough for me to eat them all. I have also noticed that they help my salad greens and other produce stay fresh longer.

I love these little containers. It has a list of different fruits and veggies on the top of the lid that tell you which foods you should vent and which ones you should keep air tight . The gray handles on either side of the container flip down and open to vent your food or you can keep them up for air tight storage. They wash up really well. Super sturdy. I’m sure they would be dishwasher safe. They come with a little tray that snaps on the bottom that holds extra liquid that might drip through the vents. They are vented on the bottom, which I like. You can rinse your food right in the tray. No complaints. I love these little containers.

Like most everyone, I struggle with keeping vegetables fresh for any length of time. This Produce Keeper solves that problem. This container has vents on the side & an attached tray for water that together provide an environment that will keep certain vegetables fresh MUCH longer than I have been able to previously. The top is a vacuum type seal but is very easy to open and close. The bottom tray comes off the main compartment and is held on securely by snapping the pieces together. There is a "cheat guide" on the lid that tells you which vegetables you should use a tablespoon (or two) of liquid in the bottom of the container and which vegetables to have the side vents open/closed on. Being a ProKeeper, it is of superior quality. It comes apart and goes back together easily and can all be cleaned in the dishwasher. A couple of times, I have forgotten that I put water in the bottom and have spilled the water onto my counter but that is my own mistake. Also, I do wish they made this in a larger & smaller size as well. This size is perfect for lettuce or longer veg. One a bit larger would be ideal for being able to prep large salads & keep the ingredients fresh through the week and a smaller size would be better for any individual prechopped veg. Otherwise, this is as easy to use as any other food container and is a great value at this price. I will absolutely be adding a couple more to my stock for times when I do not have fresh garden vegetables handy and have to rely on purchasing and keeping larger volumes fresh.

I enjoy these. They work great for my fruits. Bought 3 to replace my old ones. They slowly break over time. Work well to wash in the dishwasher!

I love, love, love these! They help keep our produce fresher longer, so we don't have as much waste. I have purchased the sets in the past, and we use these the most, so I wanted a few extras.

Using for carrots and celery for I love my produce fresh!!! I am purchasing already done for me since my right hand is in a brace since I injured and chopping or cutting using left hand is not recommended if not use to it. Me not use it, take it from me!!! This container is fabulous. I love it for it works. I own their canister set, too. It works magnificently...you won't be disappointed. A little expensive but well worth the money spent. It saves money in the long run especially the high grocery prices. lol

I am impressed I put lettuce in over a week ago and it still looked fresh sure there were some parts of the lettuce gone brown but still good enough to eat . Hoping To find smaller containers now

Great for salads, salsa etc so food doesn't go soggy, I bought another they are so good. Good for keeping mushrooms well pst their date too

Ces boîtes sont vraiment formidables. J’ai acheté des épinards frais il y a 2 semaines, je les ai lavé et conservés au frigo et ils sont encore comme au premier jour.

Excelente, plastico duro, se ve de buena calidad y durabilidad. Es de tamaño "mediano", aunque en realidad viene bastante grande. Le caben al menos unas 15 zanahorias o mas (depende del tamaño). Por lo gral las compro y al tercer o cuarto dia ya se empiezan a emblandecer y a la semana como que se arrugan y resecan, sea que las mantenga sueltas en el refri o sin refrigerar. Pero en este contenedor ya llevan 3 semanas y continuan super crujientes y frescas como si nada! Muy recomendable!
