Devir – Carcassonne Junior Board Game, Multi-Colour, 27.5 x 6.5 x 19 cm (BGCARJTR) [English Language not Guaranteed]

Born into a family who love modern “German” board games, this looked like a good way of introducing my grand daughters (5&7) to the joys of sitting round a table, being sociable, and playing with adults - or on their own. Having checked a video reviews, this seemed ideal. It can be played on a simple fun level but also starts them thinking Strategically. The game time is short, uncomplicated, and we played three games before the five year old started getting fidgety and wanting to use the pieces just to play with. It’s enjoyable for adults as well. For anybody not used to this style of board game, the price may appear excessive, but like other games in the genre, the design and presentation is excellent, and the quality of the components. The tiles are good thick board, well finished and nicely illustrated. I can’t check as it was a gift but I’m 99% sure the other pieces were wooden. I knew this set was probably a Portuguese version by reading other reviews but this only meant printing down the English instructions and enclosing them with the gift. I had trouble finding the game at a sensible price so this was worth doing.

This product is fantastic - it is well made, and pretty and perfect for kids - my boys are 7 and 10 and they love playing - be warned though - the instructions are not in English...however, it is relatively simple to find them online and print off a copy - can be enjoyed a s a 2P games, but best played with 3 or 4!

Nice game - but be aware...does not come with English Language instructions...you will need to find some online.

I don't understand why amazon.uk sells games that do not have english instructions in them.

Instructions in Spanish / Portuguese. Not stated in product information. Birthday present that my child cannot play.
