Wanted to wait a couple of months before writing my review on the No Drill, No Tool Honeycomb Window Shades. 1.) Installation: Putting these in was truly quick and easy! The most diff task was removing the shades from their bubble wrap shipping sarcophagus. Once I managed to extract the shades, installation was quick and easy, save when I got the shade *mostly* in the window. I slid the shade out too far when I installed the first shade, the mounting shaft skirted past the window frame, and shot (at speed) across the room! Mental note: Keep the plunger shaft against the window frame, or be prepared for a search for lost pieces. Yes, I found them all, and never made that mistake again. 2.) Fit & Finish: These shades look as good as plastic can. They perfectly fit the window and look handsome while down. When it comes time to open the shades they hide completely behind my window’s curtain valence. You can’t even tell there are shades! 3.) Functionality: These guys do EXACTLY what they are supposed to do. They block all but the tiniest sliver of light on the sides, letting me sleep late, when I must. I can enthusiastically recommend these shades—measure twice, measure EACH INDIVIDUAL WINDOW, even if you THINK they are all the same size, mine weren’t. My measurements were on me though, and I just used the shade I had messed up on in another window. These are very nice blinds, the mechanism works very smoothly, and they are almost fun to open and close! Buy these and thank me later.

I am very happy with the blind, color, black out, ease of use and especially the NO DRIll feature. They have made a huge difference in our bedroom. Be sure to measure each window you are ordering for and measure TOP - MIDDLE - BOTTOM I have 5 windows in one room and 3 were same and 2 were each a different measurement. It was a small difference but it mattered for the fit. I was a little confused or concerned about if the measurements from inside left to inside right was 30.5" do you just order that size or should they be cut a fraction smaller. I had them cut a fraction smaller and even though they fit it might have been better not to have them cut. But I am so very pleased with the blinds. They are light and easy to slide up and down. I'm happy with the quality and value and durabiltiy.

Great Shades. Very easy to install. Does the work great. Nice looking and blocks the sun from the west, keeps room cooler. Lets light in.

I have absolutely no negative opinions of these blinds. If I could think of one, it would be that all windows aren’t made the same size, so I probably won’t be able to take them with me if I ever move. I’ve had these blinds installed for less than 15 minutes and I’m already in love with them. The photos don’t do the color any justice. The green color is exactly like the image. The blinds are light weight and installation was so easy I didn’t even need to read the instructions - they can be installed pretty intuitively. I love that they can let sunlight in from the top and the bottom. You can easily adjust them to your liking and the mechanism that lowers and raises them is so smooth and requires no effort or finesse. The customer service was also fantastic. Once I placed my custom order, the company sent me a message shortly after confirming my details and giving me advice based on my specific needs. The blinds fit my windows perfectly! I would absolutely recommend these to any person that needed some. Totally worth the investment.

I'm happy with this blind. It blocks light very well, it looks nice and was easy to install. The only drawback I found was with the size options offered. This is not a product defect and you do provide a lot of size options. My windows are obviously not common sizes, so this blind is a little short. I am keeping it and using it because where it's installed the bottom of the window is covered with a desk that's not likely to be moved and the short length doesn't matter. I love the top down, bottom up feature. I can still use it both ways even with the desk in front of it. I can get morning light for my work area through this west-facing window and close it back up to the top when the afternoon sun starts to come in. Then I can open it from the bottom as much or as little as I need and still have some natural light on my workspace. I recommend this product.

Great item, does leak some oil/liquid from the tension adjustment. Overall great item

This cellular shade solved a big problem for our casement window. We have a three-section casement window that has fixed glass in the center and two side crank out windows. We wanted a shade that would fit inside the center fixed glass section to dampen the direct morning sun without marring the wood interior of the window. This shade mounts inside the frame with tension, and our goal of not having to drill into the casement window was achieved. The shade can be adjusted depending on our preference, and some indirect light comes through. However, it perfectly blocks the blinding glare. One thing to note is that the interior casement of our fixed glass window slopes out slightly, so the tension mount was a bit tricky for us since the surface wasn't flat. But, we were able to achieve enough tension for the shade to be secure. It would have been quite simple to install had our side surfaces been completely flat. We liked how the small plastic panel slides over the tension end of the blind to hide the working mechanism. The shade is very slightly offset in the window because of the tension mechanism.

Fit great and look great! Just what I wanted!
