I actually ordered the wrong thing as I meant to order the two step protein treatment set. I have used the Aphogee products ordered in the past and have no doubt that they should work fine as usual unless they changed the formula or something. Aphogee has been trusted for years as I have used this since the early 1990's. Anytime one is experiencing excess shedding and need additional strength for fine strands of Type 4 hair, then a protein treatment will help along with the reconstructor, shampoo and balancing moisurizer.

It is really good! It's helping my hair recover from a terrible dye mistake. The breaking has reduced and my hair generally just feels a lot healthier.

These products saved my hair. I'm glad I don't need to use a lot of shampoo to get a good lather. I use all 3 together during wash day, and my shedding has reduced significantly. These products really work.

Leave in conditioner has slightly changed since last purchased a couple years ago. Instead of a creamy rinse out conditioner, the bigger bottle is a liquid leave in. I gave 4 stars because I wish they had put a spray top for the big bottle of liquid leave in conditioner. My daughter has difficult 4C hair and out of all the shampoo/conditioners she has tried she said this one was her favorite.

My hair is relaxed and in between applications I do a Aphogee treatment to keep my hair healthy and manageable.

My daughter loves these products. I normally buy it local at Sally’s.We just received this and the products are very watery. It left my daughter’s hair feeling dry.
