Cotton Carrier G3 Wanderer Side Holster

This works well. I mostly use it for my smaller gear, not by big zoom. I use it at indoor events and also in the woods. I put it in my belt but sometime put it on a pack waist strap. Great product. Easy in and out for my camera. Once in place it won't bounce out.

Product is made of good material & workmanship. Good invention.

First of all, I really like the G3 Wanderer Side Holster. I have been using for several weeks and it works really well.I would make one suggestion. Before I ordered the holster I sent an email to you requesting information about a hub for the camera because it was not obvious that the hub was included with the holster, which you confirmed. In fact not only is the hub included, but so is the safety tether, an allen key and mounting hardware for the hub...a complete system to use the holster. I think it would be helpful for future customers to know that all of these parts come with the holster, making the system fully usable out of the box. Amazon often uses the phrase, "what's in the box" to describe products. You already have that information on you box, so it would be helpful to put it in the product description on your web site and in the Amazon product description. Thanks again for a great product. Next order for me is the tripod adapter!!

Purchased for my professional photographer wife and paired it with the new sling belt sold exclusively by Cotton Canvas. She loves it. It secures the camera and is simple to retrieve when in stored position.

Came as described, already shot a wedding with it. Overall pretty sturdy, the plastic mount is solid, kinda wish it was metal but it works well

I bought this as an addition to one I already have (the older model). There are 2 huge flaws to this new product IMO. It does not work with my "old" hub, should be backwards compatible, so that completely sucks. Also, I use these with the velcro wrap to attach to my belt. The belt I'm using is too wide to comfortably fit through the provided strap, another negative. The "old" version works great, and is rock solid with the connection. This new version has less material, less velcro and is NOT secure with this connection. Luckily I figured it out before the velcro connection broke loose or my valuable camera would have been destroyed, pretty much the antithesis of what this is supposed to do. They do offer an additional "safety tether" but to me that's just a sign or admission that the original product isn't really secure enough. When I'm loaded down with gear at work, I don't need or want to be even more strapped down with extra safety harnesses. While I like the Cotton Carrier system overall, I'm disappointed with this "new and improved" product.

The box shows the correct belt clip but after opening the box, the chest mount was inside. Also the directions for the chest mount. I ordered the belt clip. At first I thought it may be universal but it is not since the straps are sewn into the chest piece.The product does, however, seem to be really well-made. Straps are wide, and made with good material. The clip itself it holds onto the camera seems to be very secure and made of a very dense durable plastic. If I had to use for the chest version instead of needing to add a belt clip onto my gear belt, I would use it. Unfortunately I don’t have a need for this and I hope that they will exchange it and provide with the correct product in the box.

I'm a fan of Cotton Carrier equipment. Now, I carry my heaviest camera-and-lens combination with the weight on my waist, via the Cotton Carrier holster, and place only my lightweight video cam around my neck. Much better weight distribution and both cameras are handy. Especially good for me when I am covering an air show with all-day standing and walking.

Quality product. Well made and attaches to the full carrier securely.

The only slight issue was the strength of the velcro holding the device to your rucksack belt.

The camera is easily to remove and place back into the holder. I often carry a light backpack and I use one of the straps to fasten the holder to. I don't feel the weight of the camera and it prevents strain on neck and shoulders. The shoulder sling that is included to secure the camera is also of good quality and is a nice safety feature to catch the camera if I would drop it accidently.It's a good product worth the money.
