after tuning it up right and getting the right heads, this snare smacks 🔥🔥🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿. honestly this is supposed to be my backup snare. however, this is truly amazing. and until i get my other snare fixed, this snare stands its ground. the color and texture is absolutely stunning.

The snare has a nice pop, great for rock and funk. Very happy with the snare. PS the batter head isn't that bad, but will replace it. Thanks Amazon for the great price.

This drum blew me away. Installed Evan’s heads both sides. Retuned. Purchased this for a gig I was doing with a drum pad , wanted a real highhat and cymbals sound that you can finesse and crash. This gave me the rim shots I love and also the true snare sound. Was a great gig, worked out well. Price was right!!

I bought this Eastrock snare because it was a good match to a suitcase kit I am building for an upcoming pub tour. It’s $100 snare so my expectations were low. This snare is phenomenal. The quality of the build is apparent. I love the old school built in muffler and it came with good heads. The snare, throw off and bearing edges are all pro level gear. For the money, you will not find a better snare. This from a touring drummer who has owned dozens of snares. Buy this. You won’t be disappointed.

Awesome snare for the money. Needs a serious re-tune outta the gate. but the coated head is worth tuning & wearing out before a replacement is needed. Getting the wooden one next to add to the stable. It's a good drum people!

As a Drummer of almost 18 years now, this Snare blew my mind. I was iffy, seeing the cheap low price on a steel snare, but Boyyy was I Wrong!!! Its very well made, holds up to all my other $300-500 (name brand) Snares. I just changed the top batter head, and it now has a crispy- loud- crack to it. This will now be my touring snare! :) BUY IT NOW!!(Been about 3 weeks now since I've had it, and I will say if ur a heavy hitter like me. The built in Dampener will loosen up and jiggle around, but just take it off & you'll be fine!)

Do Not Recommend. Two lugs on top and one on bottom Would Not Seat. The threading was messed up it would only go down about halfway not allowing the head to be tightened anymore. This thing is cheaply made. Buy a Yamaha stage custom for 29- more.
