I live in New England and it's always humid during the summer. This dehumidifier did the trick and looked aesthetically pleasing. Emptying the dehumidifier works great and there's quite a bit of capacity so you don't have to empty it very often. It's really quiet if you activate the quiet mode, and it consumes 80w of electricity as its peak.One con of this is that there's no way to specify the percentage to stop. For example, I like my house around 50 - 60% humidity, but there's no way to set that. However, that's a feature for dehumidifiers far more than the cost of this dehumidifier.

This unut is seriously awesome, especially for bedrooms and bathrooms. I've noticed a huge difference in my bathroom since I got one. It helps a lot with all that extra steam and moisture.It really sucks the moisture out of the air, which is great for comfort and avoidance of mold growth. The sleep quality is much better as well. It keeps air clean in bedroom.

This thing is perfect for our child's bedroom that always seems to be a bit muggy. The size allows us to move it around as needed. It's very quiet and seems to work really well. The lights on it allow a gentle glow at night which our child loves. After a couple nights of use, the room seems to be much more comfortable overnight.
