Really easy to build . The cable is long enough for our garden , the mower it’s self is easy to use , the hight adjustments not only adjusts the rear wheels but also the front wheels as well, giving a good clean even cut . The handles are cleverly designed giving a good grip and your hands are planted and have full control. It gives the lawn a good stripe with the roller barrel planted firmly on the rear . Great mower, can’t fault it .

The air was blue as I tried to put the bits together--would be easier with 2 peopleOnce it was together and I used it for the first time--MAGIC!!!Little heavier than I had expected but easy to use and move and cuts like a dream

The only thing I have a problem with is registering the product. Black & Decker's office is closed until further notice and the label on the box does not relate to the details required on the registration. I am in the process of photographing the label that there is and forwarding to them and see what happens but the label does not photograph well. I am going to try again. As for the product itself it meets all the requirements of a lawn mower although one of the screws needed easing to place into the handle, but nevertheless now it is assembled it is great.

I spent a great deal of time trying to find a replacement for my Bosch 10 year + corded mower and finally decided on the B&D 38cm.It wasn't the easiest to put together and the instructions were pretty nonexistent but eventually went together no problems.Upon using it was where the fun started...Firstly, the handle is ridiculously long making it almost impossible to turn near anything (e.g. cabin, fence etc) unless you are in complete open space. There is no option to change the position of the handle to bring it down either.Secondly, it is heavy and clunky to use, with the turning circle of a bus. The 'ergonomic handle' left me with strained wrists just from 10 mins of mowing. The grip is so thick that to keep the power buttons depressed it's like a gym session.Thirdly, the height adjustment is extremely filmsy and feels like it is ready to snap off. The heights also seem off as anything above 4 doesn't seem to cut even the tallest grass.Fourthly, the roller doesn't make the slightest sign of a stripe (the first image is just the roller from my old mower and visible stripes. The second image shows a fresh cut and zero stripes from the B&D!). This was one of the main reasons I bought the B&D as it had a roller. Very disappointed.Finally, the grass box spits out grass like nothing before. Spraying everything with a snow-like covering of green.Overall, this is the worst mower I've used and will be getting rid of it ASAP.

Light and easy to use but the cut doesn’t go low enough so we have had to lower the blade to get a better finish.

really good mower cuts different heights, the only down side was that I found it a bit heavy to manoeuvre. But otherwise very nice

I had try many lawnmower, but always had issues! From it not being powerful enough or cutting at the length stated.Until I came across this, this is one of the best purchase I have made all year and it has cut down my gardening by an hour!Simple and easy to use, any beginner can pick this up and make short work of any garden!
