I bought this toothpaste because I want to support a hospitable “launch pad” environment inside my mouth so the naturally occurring “helpful bacteria” vastly outnumber the “harmful bacteria” that together populate my gut making up the microbiome. Our microbiome is unique to us as individuals and has been found to play an important role in decreasing widespread inflammation in the body. The gut bacteria execute essential immune system responses to perceived pathogens ensuring sustained good health by keeping us free from illness and disease.I also would like to believe in the potential remineralization of tooth enamel and I read a review where someone claimed to have had a cavity confirmed by dental x-ray that was completely undetectable 6 months later reportedly due to the “remineralizing properties” of this product!Last but not least: The flavor!! Whoa! Salty! It takes some getting used to and, honestly, I feel like the zesty burning sensation caused by the essential oils in the products is actually becoming more intense after brushing with it for ~ 2 months?Finally, my gums used to constantly feel irritated like they were scrapped up from brushing but they don’t feel that way anymore. I also started using a mouth wash that is 20% aloe Vera that is also helping to calm my gums.Overall, after switching to a child’s level soft toothbrush aka “super soft”, swapping out my old toothpaste for this product and replacing my mouthwash I have to admit my mouth feels a lot better!! Noticeably less gum irritation and cleaner teeth with less plaque/stains.I highly recommend that people try this toothpaste if your health goals include increased use of natural products in your self-care routine and decrease in potentially harmful chemicals, formulated to kill all oral bacteria indiscriminately, coming in contact with your mucus membranes.This product seems like a solid tool in supporting the balance of good bacteria in the body who’s effect on our overall health. we are only beginning to understand.Be prepared to experience a new taste and texture: salty, gritty, and strongly minty but as long as you don’t expect a fake sweet sugar taste and take give yourself time to acclimate to the essential oils then I expect you’ll also have a good experience.The container lasts a long time! Also, I recommend taking a moment to educate yourself re the warning related to lead content in this product:Lead is a natural component of the clay ingredient but it is NOT a type of lead that is “bio available” aka not absorbable by our bodies so there is no risk of harm from lead ingestion.CA law requires warning of the presence of lead to be clearly visible on product label all the same.Now go brush yo teeth!

I've been using natural fluoride free toothpastes for years now, but upon reading about glycerin and the inability for enamel to remineralize I began searching for glycerin free toothpastes as well. Whether it is true or not, this is the best toothpaste I have ever used. I've seen a big improvement in the translucency of my front teeth which had been worrying me over the years. I have also experienced a complete disappearance of the sensitivity I was having in a couple of my teeth that would come and go spontaneously. For years (no exaggeration) not one dentist could identify anything wrong; no cavities, no nothing. My teeth and overall mouth has never felt so clean and so fresh; no sweet aftertaste, no gunky residue, just pure minty freshness and cleanliness. I must note that I also brush with a sonicare toothbrush and I must say there is no going back, I've tried. The two paired together is a game changer for oral hygiene and care.A note about taste:When making the switch from regular old toothpastes or natural xylitol ones, this will taste VERY salty and very minty. But after a few brushes this will pass, it's all a matter of getting used to the new taste. One night I decided to brush with my old xylitol toothpaste and could NOT!!! It was cringe worthy sweet!! I also use the mouthwash in the mornings and that one is much saltier and EXTREMELY minty and can burn but it will leave your mouth feeling, tasting, and smelling AMAZING.A note about longevity:I have been using this toothpaste since September 2016 and have gone through 2 jars so far. Approx 4 months a jar which I believe is a good deal.

This brand is literally one of a kind! I have never felt my teeth feel so clean, even after leaving the dentist! The ingredients are readable and all natural. It will not foam. It is just a paste but it has whitened my teeth, taken away the sensitive feeling and effective on the whole family! Will continue to purchase every time!

I chose this toothpaste after reading the good reviews, and I’m so glad I did.It’s definitely not like regular toothpaste—it has a distinct flavor—but my teeth are actually whiter now than when I used whitening strips! My gums are healing; they’re not completely back to where they were, but the recession has definitely stopped. My teeth also look much more opaque.You only need a pea-sized amount to brush your teeth, and for one person, the jar lasts about 1–2 months. It is a bit on the expensive side, but I think it’s money well spent because you’ll see the difference in your teeth almost immediately. I also really appreciate that the ingredients are natural.Finally, I used to have sensitivity to very hot or cold foods and drinks. After using this toothpaste for three months, that sensitivity is completely gone!
