After growing my hair out for more than two years, I finally decided to get a personal shampoo and conditioner for curly hair and to stop using generic shampoo like Dove men+care Shampoo and AXE 2-in -1’s. I looked for about a week until I eventually found Garnier Hair Care Fructis Curl Nourish Shampoo, Conditioner, and Butter Cream Leave In Conditioner. It seemed to go well with curly hair, there was no way I couldn’t atleast try it. After a few days of waiting, I eventually got it in the mail and scrambled to open it, excited to try it when I took a shower that night.My first thoughts about it was that it smelled very good. Compared to any other hair products I've used, it smells natural, many other brands mainly describe smells in a weird way like “Cool Breeze” or “Refreshing scent.” While Garnier uses natural smells “Coconut Oil” and “Butter Cream.” Another thing I enjoyed about the product was how refreshed and soft my hair was after using it. When I used Dove’s shampoo, my scalp and hair felt hard and almost itchy but when I used Garnier, it felt easier to glide through my hair while making my hair feel/look even curlier. After using the product for a little longer. Something else I thought was interesting was the Leave-in Conditioner it came with. I've never tried a shampoo product that you leave in air before so I was kind of skeptical about it. It turns out that it can help detangle stray hairs while also making your hair smell good.I do have a few problems with the product though, sometimes the shampoo can be very hard to find. It can either be completely out of stock or expensive and would deliver a month, making me resort to using another shampoo. Another problem I have with the shampoo is that my hair is very oily after one and a half days of not using the shampoo, making me shampoo my hair 2-3 or even 4 days in a week. Everyone has different hair so this problem may not occur for some. The last thing I do not like about the product is that the speed of the different soaps and conditioners, when one bottle of shampoo runs out I have to buy a another pack of three so I can restock on the product I ran out of while keeping the other two on the shelf until they are ready for use.Overall, after using this product for more than 2 months, I can totally recommend this product to people with curly hair. If it wasn’t for the minor inconveniences I would have rated this product 5/5 stars instead of 4.5/5. This good smelling shampoo and conditioner with an extra leave-in conditioner is a total game changer!

Two years ago I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and had to go through Chemo, Radiation, a Lumpectomy and am now taking two different types of drugs to keep it from returning. As with most Cancer patients, I lost my hair. I had been told so many stories from people that had been through the same process as me and each had a different way to deal with their hair once it returned.I had been warned that it would not have the same texture, that I would lose my curls and that I might even lose my natural hair color, which is a deep Auburn (similar to an Irish Setter). I am very pleased to report that I have been in remission for 14 months now and my hair has grown back to the point that it is almost at my shoulders, I still have most if not all of my curl, but I did lose my color. The Color change I could take care of with a trip to the salon. But I knew that my hair had changed and that I needed to take special care not to use any unnecessary chemicals as it could cause my hair to break off and I could not afford to lose any more hair!I spent goodness knows how much money trying to find the best hair care products out there from the most expensive on the market to the cheapest. They would all seem fine at first but after a couple of uses, my hair would go back to being a frizz ball and my curls would just lay flat or be all over the place.I did some more research and came across this brand. I spent a few days reading LOTS of reviews and since it really is at a nice price, I figured what could I use.As usual with the other products, the first time I used it, I loved it. It kept my curls, the frizz was gone and my hair felt very soft like it had prior to my losing it in the first place. However, I waited to write this review because I wanted to make sure that it was not a fluke like the other kinds. I have now used it four different times and each time it has turned out the same way.It is also a big time saver! I wash my hair, rinse well and then add the conditioner, leave that on for a few minutes running my fingers through my hair to detangle any knots that my have happened during the washing process. After I rinse the conditioner out with lukewarm to cool water rinse I pat it dry with a towel and add just a dime size of the leave in conditioner, trust me, a little goes a long way. I rub it between my hands and just lightly touch my hair on the ends and then run my fingers through my hair, then I do the flip over and scrunch it between my hands for about a minute or so and that's it!I allow my hair to air dry and while I am doing this I will scrunch it a few more times for the next half hour. I can sleep on my hair and in the morning just fluff it up and it returns to the way it was when I went to bed the night before.I am happy to say that this set has all natural ingredients and no alcohol, which is a big deal. This will be my hair treatment for the foreseeable future. In the even that this stops working I will post an update, until then I recommend it to anyone that has wavy or curly hair that tends to frizz the second you step outside. Also, my hair feels so soft and smells so clean!

This has been great for my aging hair! My hair has become curlier and frizzier as I age. I feel like I'm always playing catch-up to figure out how to manage it, as it is changing, so it doesn't become a crazy, frizzy afro.I have really thick hair. This tames my hair so well! I have been too self-conscious to wear it curly very often, even when I get it cut right for wearing it curly. None of the other leave-in conditioners I have tried has helped tame my mane like this one does.Now it just works! It has also been good in keeping my hair a little straighter if I run a comb through it and don't scrunch it. This gives me a nice tousled look instead of a freaky Halloween look.Also, it doesn't leave my hair super crunchy. It's just enough to control the curls. I definitely recommend this product.
