The AP style guide sets the standard.
The style guide has all ready set the standard for writing. It is a great guide to be used across offices and multiple locations. It allows for consistency. Good choice for reporting, and business. I'm using it to archive photos and make them searchable by anyone, same abrevations for cities, states and everything else in key words and meta data.

These are the guidelines for writing stories for the AP news service and the member publications. Styles change over the yeas, and it is revised often. Useful for concise information on topics, (Cryptocurrency, artificial intelligence, etc) and proper use of grammar and trademarks. Not recommended for novel writers, or technical writing.

It is the best book in this category.
Every writer, high school student, and college student needs this book. Writing a proper BIBLIOGRAPHY will get you or them a scholarship or a better job. I have gotten four people college scholarships with impressive bibliographies of books and articles in their chosen fields. Amazon sells cheap used books in nearly every field. I got a woman a professorship with a terrific bibliography. Every school offered her a job at double her salary.
