KEEN Women's Barbados Breathable Comfortable Sandals Toe Protection Flip-Flops

When I first got these and tried them on I was unsure about them. They were simultaneously comfortable and not very comfortable. The arch support is not fantastic that’s one of the major issues with these. They look a little odd on the foot but they’ve grown on me. They seem to be very good quality. They fit like most Keens do, a little on the wide side.

This sandal is supportive for a flip flop, good arch support, unique style that will turn heads, durable and the fit was perfect. I’m typically 9.5M or 10M so in sandals I usually size up to the 10 and they fit like a glove. The price point was perfect too.

I have over 20 pairs of the Keen Waimea, even from when they first were released.Remember back then -- they were SUCH cool colors and patterns, remember the one made of rice bags??THEN, Keen discontinued the flip flop with toe cover for women. Kept it only for men. SO, I switched to wearing the black and tan mens version, and yes I let them know that WOMEN NEED TOE COVERS TOO.These I decided to try because I have always stuck with the Waimea and the curved/formed footbed. I don't like these as much. The foam sole is soft but it mashes flat, gets cuts in the bottom, scuffs easily, and does not provide any kind of support for the foot.They are cute, if you just need cute. But if you need performance as a hiker, kayaker, naturalist, photographer, whatever, these will leave you feeling it in your knees and back by the end of the day.

I wanted a way to cover my big and middle toes while I battle a disgusting toenail fungus that my a-hole ex gave to me. (The POS knows he has a very contagious toenail fungus yet he continues to avoid treating it, spreading it around to all sorts of unsuspecting people).These cover my big and middle toes while still allowing me to wear flips while I battle this fungus. It’s also helpful because it’s good to air my toes out as much as possible = I can now wear these vs having to put shoes on every time I go out in public.They are incredibly comfortable and stay on my feet well. No rubbing anywhere yet, but also haven’t walked miles in them yet.Sizing: since these don’t have half sizes, I had to go w a size 9 because I am a true 8.5 = the 8 is just a wee bit too short.Thank you for helping me get through sandal season, Keen!

If you live in the islands, you wear slippers (flipflops). I saw these and thought, different". And they ARE, but in a good way. They keep my big toes covered but are still slippers. They are very comfortable, not "cheapy" looking, Quality made as expected with Keen.Cute!

Now they are just like a flip flop- with a toe guard.I loved the original models.I was so happy to see this model and the Bali back.My very favorite sandals because of the toe protector-and the cushion bottoms. Sorry about the change of the bottons of the second pair I ordered.

Comfortable fit. Watch out for the way thethe sole will grab on carpet; I found out the hard way on the floor! I'm guessing this will be a plus on slick surfaces?!These shoes have gotten much negative attention on how they look, but I bought them for comfort and protection of my toes.
