Confusing cut, confounding design, inconsistent between sizes
So I know it's a cliche to say that one never writes reviews but "just had to this one time" because a product was that awful, but it's true for me: I never write reviews and I can count the times I've returned items on one hand. These pants made me THAT angry. Angry enough to write an essay it seems.I'm no stranger to the Kerrits brand and actually owned two pairs of Gripteks from before this redesign (when they were pull ons). Those pants were rode into the ground to the point where they were literally shredded in the crotch and butt area. The two stars are for the fact that the Griptek material is the best on the market. You will NOT fall off in these things unless you're doing something really weird. The security is absolutely insane. Which is why I wanted to love these.Disclaimer: these might work for your body as we are all different and all, but I found that the cut is just abysmal and confusing and not thought out at all. I am tall (5'10'') and fit with extremely defined legs and huge quads.I first tried the new version in a tack store in a size large. Didn't work. Huge gaping at the waist to the point where I could pull them way far out like a silly weight loss commercial and even left alone they were hanging off of my butt in an extremely unattractive way. Fit my legs fine but seemed both stiff and a touch loose. They didn't have a medium that day so I figured sizing down would solve my problem and purchased online. Nope. Hideous. They barely came up my legs, which was a huge difference in just one size down. They did come up, but my legs felt like they were wrapped in tight cellophane. Just extremely stiff and unserviceable. Not only that but the waist seemed barely different that the larger size I tried. Still a ton of gaping (a belt wouldn't fix it, too much material) and I could still pull them out with minimal effort. And yet somehow there was also a seem straight down the middle of my crotch that felt like it was going to chafe like a nightmare. If anyone reading knows about the "inverness problem" then you will understand that these were a disaster waiting to happen. So, to recap, these pants suffocated my legs and ran a painful seam straight down the middle of my crotch that produced the worst camel toe I've ever seen on myself or otherwise while simultaneously being comically oversized in the waist. It's like Kerrits didn't even consider that they make riding clothing. Why would anyone who rides want a seam like that choking their privates? Why would the sizing be so dramatic between one size change? And why would you not account for more room in the legs and less in the waist, as riders tend to be muscular in those areas. As these pants seem to be marketed towards eventers, this seems like a huge miss. That Griptek material deserves better than these pants.

Completely see-through
For over $100 I would expect the breeches to not be completely see-through. Thoroughly disappointing. Other than that, comfy enough and I like the look. Just a matter of probably never riding in front of anyone I don’t want to see my tattoo and lines through the fabric.

Spectacular breeches, well made, great sports wear
Spectacular breeches. I'm 5'5", ~120 lbs. Medium is fitting great. There is a little room for a few donuts for after the ride. Very well made.

Did not fit well. Very disappointed
I am a huge fan of Kerrits breeches and I've been through almost every previous iteration of this product from the original sit tight lites. I ordered these breeches because the previous sit tights lites saved me from a couple of falls, and the rubber on my very last pair disintegrated after more than 8 years (I stopped riding in between, but still, it's pretty amazing that they lasted that long).I really wanted to like these breeches but unfortunately the fit is terrible. The breeches are just right around the waist, but too loose around my bum and thighs, resulting in chafing and discomfort. On a positive note, I really like the zip and pockets.Kerrits, please bring back your original edition sit tight lites. They were amazing and lasted forever, and the fit was pretty much perfect.

Lasted 6 rides before seat tore away.
Bought these at the beginning of July. Wore them about once every other week to ride between 1-3 horses each day. Washed after each ride. After the third ride, the (very soft, VERY grippy) seat material began ripping away from the stitching at the knee. After the sixth ride, the seat material began ripping apart on the knees, thighs, and buttocks areas. These are completely unwearable now, not even as barn chore pants because of how ridiculous the ripped up seat material looks flapping in the wind. I wish I had never bought them. Absolute waste of money.

Worth it, flattering and "sticky
I am a beginner english rider (have ridden Western my whole life) and I just got back in the saddle after 3 years without even sitting on a horse. I have never bought a pair of breeches and so these were my first and boy am I happy I did. I got a XL which fit perfectly, sits right at my belly button, I have a short torso and I like things to sit higher. There is just enough stretch to be flattering but everything still gets held in. I love the zipper on the side front feature. It makes my tummy look much smaller then it is which is always a plus. Now let's talk about the griptek, when they say it will stick you in the saddle. They mean it! I felt more secure with these breeches on then I ever had in a suede seat western saddle and jeans. I even got "stuck" dismounting because I didn't lift my leg up enough to swing it around! (Which was kinda funny if I'm honest). To wrap it up, they were worth every penny, and I would suggest them to anyone who needs more stick! Thanks kerrits for making my first breech experience a good one.

Eh...
I was really expecting more. I love the look! But the outside fabric is rather thin, and I do not see how it can possibly be moisture wicking in any way. I bought for the summer but I'm not sure if I will keep them or not, I bought some Ponte pants recently from a huge chain store 14.99, they look similar to these, are much heavier fabric yet very soft on the skin unlike these. For that price difference I can do some creative sewing and make my own full seat riding pants and save a nice amount of money...
