Nowhere To Run ( My Story )
Becky's family, her mother father and little brother are Jews, its 1938 and things are beginning to get worrying in their country of birth, Poland. Adolf Hitler had come into power in Germany and wanted what he called living space for the german people, this meant invading the countries close to him, he hated the Jews and blamed them for everything that was bad in Germany.Becky's family decided they had to leave Poland but could not take her younger brother or Aunt with them, intending to send for them later, eventually reaching France that was considered safe.Their was no safety in France where with the help of a young girls family that Becky had befriended they managed to just about keep one step ahead of the German's.One of the better My Story books and an ok read.
