Great little aerial
Didn’t expect much for the price or because of the size when I got it out of the box. However, plugged it into the tv, stuck the serial on a wardrobe behind some boxes so it wasn’t in view, clicked search on the tv and it found 170 stations straight away. No need to move it or anything. I think I might buy another one for the other tv I have and get rid of bigger one.

Usually OK on travels, not at home
It won't make a weak signal into a usable one, so do look at a reception guide to see if it will be worth getting for you. My home needs a proper roof aerial, for example, but I've been able to use this on a canal boat somewhere with better reception.

Simply doesn't work
Disappointingly it doesn't work!I've tried it on two HDTV's and neither one of them where able to detect or display a single channel. Other then the wire/cable going between the aerial and the TV, I don't believe that there are any electronics in the device however there is a strong magnet, which doesn't seem to serve any purpose as I was unable to detect any channel. One wonders if this is nothing more then an upgrade to the ye-olde wire clothes hangers we used to stick in our portable B/W TV's in the 70s/80s. I'm guessing that unless you live in an area which has high frequencies that this may work but sadly not where I live, but I don't live in a dead-zone either.

Works great in the inlaws caravan, but not in my flat
My inlaws were getting some home renovations done, so they bought a caravan that sits in their garden, and whilst they can watch most freeview channels, it's grainy and drops out when cars go past. This very compact aerial works great and allows a nice clear picture on all of the channels, including the HD ones. Cable length is probably excessively long for our needs, but it's better than being too short! They have it trailing out of the window, and it magnetically attaches to the roof, and there's been no problems after nearly a month of ridiculously hot weather and downpours!I did personally test this indoors in my flat before giving it to the inlaws, but the signal strength was not nearly as strong as my existing one that I had also got from here, so I'd say look elsewhere if you need a good aerial for inside a property.

The aerial is smaller than expected
Although the aerial is small it works very well for freeview channels, so good I bought another one. Very easy to install on a smart TV. & very good value.
