This came the very next morning after I ordered it! So fast! My Dyson 7 cordless stick vac is about 6 years old now, I've purchased a new battery for it twice and replace the filters often and I maintain it well on my own. I've taken the whole thing apart, cleaned it and put it back together several times. Recently a portion of the brush head broke off, the velour strip that is supposed to push hair and debris and what not toward the rotating brush head. The pick-up of the brush head was not as good after that piece broke off. I checked the Dyson website for replacement and was gobsmacked at the prices for a replacement brush head! Went on Amazon and found a replacement for a fraction of the cost. I read reviews like it's my job, so I felt confident in this purchase. The replacement has a silicone strip instead of the velour strip and I like it better, it is much more effective at pushing debris toward the brush head. The bristles are great, and not broken off like my old one, so I don't have to run over little things 12 times just to get it vacuumed up. The weight of the replacement is exactly the same as the original, I weighed them both. It fits into the snap in slot perfectly, and I am very happy with the quality and function of the replacement brush head.

Perfect replacement for my Dyson! The quick-release feature makes swapping it out super easy, and it fit my vacuum with no issues at all. The suction power is just as strong as the original motorhead, and it glides smoothly over both carpet and hardwood. I was worried it might feel like a knock-off or not be as sturdy, but the quality is great and it feels durable. Perfect replacement head for my Dyson. The one I had came with the vacuum and after many diligent years (5) of use, the bristles had worn off. The product works great and fits perfectly with my current vacuum. Would recommend.

Took out of the package and the motorhead would stop in its tracks right when I put it on carpet. Original head (which is over 10 years old) works fine if on carpet. See the attached video of my brand new head failing to work. I am returning this low performing knock off

I appreciate the low price. The bearing busted off where it screws in. It worked good before it broke. I feel it should have lasted a lot longer.
