I received this product 3 days ago and let me tell you this, I was really amazed with this product from A to Z.Easy to install, easy to setup using the X-Sense app, and the great functionality of the base and the smoke detectors.I've tested one of the smoke detectors by applying a cigarette smoke and the sensitivity was very High with a fast interaction with the base, the other two smoke detectors and the app on my phone.This system will notify you on your phone through the X-Sense app while you are away from your home or business.It's really a peace of mind.So, I highly recommend this system for those who are looking for a high level of safety and protection for their loved ones and their properties.I will write an update in the future during using this system.

The app, hub and devices work together very easily. The app is very intuitive and clear. This was easy to install, and the hardware looks nice. Since purchasing, I have expanded my linked system. This is a good alternative to the Nest-Detect smoke detectors. Nest seems to have abandoned the smoke detection & safety products with no innovations for many years. On the other hand, X-Sense appears to be expanding and adding new products. My only comment is that the product labeling is not always clear as some wi-fi based products require the hub and others do not. One needs to dig through the product description to find this information.

Great product. I wanted a combination smoke and CO detector. I wanted a smart and interconnected system as we have vaulted ceilings so replacing a chirping battery is a major event. I looked at Kidde and First Alert products and their reviews were mediocre at best with consistent complaints about false alarms. X-sense seemed to fit the bill but I was a little concerned about the made in China quality and lack of UL certification. I bought a set and ran my own test to ensure the sensitivity, time to alarm and inter-connectivity all worked. Physical build quality is top notch. Solid devices. Very low profile. The LED readout is of minimal value to me given the height of installation. Unless the device is eye level, I can’t see it being useful for anyone. I tested both smoke and CO sensitivity and all worked as listed in their docs. The networking capability was very easy to setup and also worked as listed. The app is well laid out and works great. Silencing ALL alarms from the app worked like a charm (without needing to get a ladder and push a button). The app also indicates the network and battery status of each device. I’ve had them installed for almost 6 weeks now and haven’t had a single false alarm.

Upgrading my home with smart alarms. Setting them up and getting the app started was simple and fast. Comparing these to others by the same brand was extremely confusing though. Has a good loud sound, I like that it has voice to tell what/where exactly the problem is. These are not wired, I couldn’t find any that were fully smart and wired when I was shopping with this brand.

These are awesome, so much better than the old (more popular) name brand devices I replaced at end of life. The hub-based notification system is like getting monitored devices free (self-monitored unless you pay for external monitoring, but it works). I almost didn’t buy them after reading a negative review that claimed one could either interconnect these devices or connect them to their hub. That user did not understand the product. The detectors are interconnected through the hub, and it works great. These are a fantastic value.

Installed these today and they work great. Using the app, I was able to quickly sign the base station into my wifi and add each combo smoke/CO detector with their proper location. Step by step instructions walk you through the procedure on the app. Installation was a breeze and they are automatically wirelessly linked to each other. I'm very pleased with the purchase and the system works seamlessly in a home without a hardwired connection between detectors.

I knew what I wanted: smoke and carbon monoxide alarm combination; units that talked to each other so if one went off, they all did; units that connected to WiFi via an app so I could check them from anywhere; units that had replaceable batteries; and finally, units that could be set up easily with no hassles.The big box stores and hardware stores all told me no such unit/system existed.Thankfully, they were wrong!X-Sense has created such a system, and it is incredible. They thought of everything from both an operational viewpoint and from a customer’s viewpoint. The packaging and what was in the box (including everything you need to mount the units), the documentation/user manual, and the set up are very well thought through. Unpacking to being fully operational with the base station and five connected alarms on the walls, plus having the app set up on my phone, took less than a half hour. It was enjoyable for once to set up such a system because it was so easy, and it worked as shown in the user manual! What a novelty…And a bonus – when the alarms are hung on the wall, they are straight! Not rotated 67.8 or some other random degrees from horizontal. And it was easy to do because X-Sense thought about this aspect as well! Clearly, X-Sense put a lot of thought into the design of the alarm unit. These are the first alarms I have had that look great on the wall.I know that my house is protected, and that I can deal with any issue quickly whether I am home or not. It is nice to be confident that my family is safe.If you are looking for new alarms or want to replace an old system (as I did), then I highly recommend X-Sense without reservation.Thank you X-Sense!!
