Greek Mountain Oregano

I discovered this product several years ago in my search for a great Greek oregano. This is by far the best. It has amazing flavor. It is hard to find in local stores, so I am grateful that it is available here. It takes a little work to separate the leaves from the stems, but it is so worth it. The entire kitchen smells of fresh oregano. It lasts a long time in a glass jar. Use it on everything!

Note that this is not jamaican oregano which is the one used in Caribbean islands including Dominican Republic.I was hesitant because of the stems but the fact that the plant is whole is what makes this like a punch!! So strong and powerful, amazing, intoxicating!!!I like that its not sweet like Italian oregano which I dont like very much.

Oregano grows wild in the mountains and hills of Greece. It has a unique aroma and is not as overpowering as Mexican oregano, yet is very flavorful and adds great depth to dishes such as Greek Lemon/Oregano Chicken. This is the real deal folks and it's organic. Comes well packaged in a box with plastic inner wrapping. Highly recommend. Thavmásios!

Good oregano but all stems.

Πολύ νόστιμο! This genuine Greek oregano smells and tastes like the herbs I like to buy when I'm in Crete. It's so much better than the weak oregano I buy here in the U.S.

I have bought this brand for a few years. I am paying for sticks!! Unhappy!

Stems & all thrown in a package, too weedy, quality poor. Will not purchase again

purchased for use in cooking and making a good tea...it turned out better than I was expecting

Lots of twigs and packaging is paper thin plastic.... probably better to get the processed version.

I use it mainly For greek salads. Really not worth buying, no taste! I used to buy from another greek company, I could not find it anymore at Amazon. Sad.
