I read reviews before purchasing it, and some were negative. When I want just a cup of coffee, it works perfectly for me. The brew is good, the coffee is hot. I find it to be a good product.

Keeps Me Going - From Puerto Rico to Alaska
I bring my coffee with me whereever I travel - from Puerto Rico to Alaska. I purchased several of these inexpensive, yet durable coffee makers which have traveled well and afford me the ability to have a machine in several of my shipping cases and luggage pieces, so I'm never without. It makes a good cup of coffee with my coffee and I'm well satisfied with it's ability to handle the larger and smaller cup sizes. It's easy to clean and I like the built-in filter.

Works but Disappointing
This is an attractive looking item and it DOES make one cup of coffee. However, it is very slow compared to my previous Black and Decker. Also, it does not shut off automatically like the B & D. With this one, I have time to take my pre-breakfast pills, get the morning paper and check my e-mail while it is brewing. Not all bad, I guess!

Great idea, poor quality
Great idea for small spaces, I only wish the quality of the product was better. This little coffee pot does make a decent cup of coffee, but because it is so cheaply made it will not last long.

Eh - it's slow, but it works
This is a little bit slow to actually make the cup of coffee, but it does the job. It's slow enough that it finishes making one cup of coffee in about the same time as my regular coffee pot makes 3-4 cups, but it's decent enough when I just want one cup. We've had it for a few years -- I use it every few days and it still works.

Perfect 1 cup coffee maker
I bought the Toastess 1-cup coffee maker for my Husband and he loves it. I don't drink coffee at all but he does. We never bought a coffee maker before because they usually make 6 or more cups of cofee, which we wouldn't be able to drink. Now he can have a cup of coffee before work in the mornings, that's not instant coffee :-)

One Cup of Coffee
I was looking for a one cup coffee maker, so decided to purchase this as the price was right. I have used it every day since and I am very pleased with its performance. It is also very easy to keep clean and maintain. You can't go wrong if you purchase it.

Like Size/Convenience
Even though I drink coffee all day long, I enjoy its being fresh with each cup. Plus, if I happen to make a "bad batch" I'm not stuck with a whole pot of coffee I don't like. Only drawback, it doesn't have a heating element to keep the coffee hot. (What do I expect for $15.00?) BUT that just means I have to drink it right away, while it's fresh. Also like that it's small and doesn't take up much room on the counter.
