Replace Your Mobile Hotspot or MIFI with Something MUCH Better, especially for Family's with Kids
Do you live in an area with no high speed internet AND spotty cell signal? In my case, I purchased a Verizon Hotspot, but it was lacking in a few ways... #1 when plugged into my WaveForm antenna (that I had just mounted on the roof pointed at the nearest cell tower) the Hotspot didn't stay plugged in well... #2 no scheduling (so it would go to sleep automatically at night), #3 no throttling of those connected, #4 no filtering of unwanted stuff... On the otherhand, the PepLink can do all that (and more). The only struggle has been the learning curve of just knowing how to configure it in the settings so it does exactly what I want it to do. It's been fun, really, learning the in's and out's of it, and now I don't have to subject myself to using satellite internet (which would cost much more than a 50GB/month hotspotThe scheduling is VERY cool, you can set it to be off any 1/2 hour in the week, or any number of them, and that is really marvelous. No more, "the WiFi is going off at 10 p.m.!!!", and then having to manually do it, it goes off for you, and then the kids get sleep, and aren't as grumpy to wake up for school in the morningPlus, with the BandWidth Control, you can set the minimum to like 300 kps to maximize the amount of web browsing with minimizing the data usage. You can create user groups to assign more data to different groupsYou can also watch data usage by month, day, hour, or realtimeOh, did I mention that you can monitor both the signal strengh (dBm) and the quality (dB) in a single graph?! So useful in making sure you're connected to a good signal. AND AND AND... You can actually select the BANDS, the cellular bands, that you want to connect to (in case you think you can figure out something better than what Peplink does on it's own, or, if it for some reason connects to a weak 5G signal or something, but I doubt it would do that. It's fun for testingPlus, the Web Blocking is free! Check boxes for AV, Adware, P2P, File Hosting, Update Sites, & P*r*Lots more even more techy featuresAm I happy it cost this much? No, but... its a one time cost... and you get a ton of features that the MiFi just does not have

What a piece of junk!I regret that I ever bought two of them!

Zero Regrets here! Just Buy it !!!
1st, realize that this is a pro-sumer, light commercial device and not a dumbed down consumer box. 2nd, it is FANTASTIC! I love this unit. yes, it takes a little fortitude to configure it just the way you want it, but you can do almost anything you need! Zero Regrets here!

Does not ship with a SIM card
but it seems that when you turn it on, it has some kind of t-mobile sim, but it isn't clear how you would renew that plan...

Should have bought one sooner
Took me a bit of tinkering to get everything the way that I wanted, as the UI isn't the most intuitive thing in the world. However, once it's set up it is rock solid. I can simulate failovers on Teams/Zoom calls with 0 downtime, no more awkward "sorry my internet went down" excuses to my customers!

No Sim Card
This device was supposed to come with a data plan. No Sim Card was included and Peplink does not bother to answer support tickets. The set-up app is useless and no help at all.

An extremely reliable technology that is feature packed.
While I purchased my unit through an Peplink distributor, I can attest this is a game changer for the Home/RV/Small Business users. I have extensive experience with Peplink over the past eight years and have nearly 100 devices by them in my daily job, this unit is just an absolute game changer in capability. The comments regarding the included eSIM data plan by some users about not being able to activate is a misunderstanding on what this is for. It is a small data plan to allow management of the unit not to provide active data services. When you purchase the Peplink InControl 2 Service and Prime Care service you open your equipment up to an easy online management suite from anywhere you have Internet and improves functionality for management of a large number of devices. Purchasing this product on Amazon gives you a quality product within a range of enterprise grade equipment, but it does not give you the backbone support network that is found when purchasing through a normal integrator. Peplink is like other major brands of hardware providers they do not provide end-user support, instead they provide support to a secondary integrator level. With that being said I have found the use of the forums to be very useful and the speed of getting support for tricky situations has been outstanding. Additionally, this equipment can be used with Speedfusion (a Peplink service) that can provide full-time VPN networking and bonding of your WAN services which gives a user seamless bonding, failover, and redundant service. For instance you could combine the integrated Cellular, a USB-C Cell Modem, a Terrestrial WAN, and Satellite WAN together and push data over all of them at a single time. It also supports a Wireless WAN as another connection. I truly find this to be an outstanding product with true gigabit network speeds. Does it support 2.5Gb or 10Gb, no it does not, but that is not what this product is ultimately designed to accomplish.

An RVers Dream
Coming from a Surf SOHO which was amazing for its time, this brings multi-wan to a whole new level. I have been able to balance my connections (Starlink, local WIFI, cellular) across multiple connections, prioritize streaming to certain connections, and perfect the concept of failover with this device. If you have multiple WAN connections, you can't go wrong with this router.
