Much better than sand. These balls, somehow, clean out the pool water. I was skeptical, but I was willing to give it a try. My sand needed replaced this year, so I thought it would be a great switch. It worked like a charm and had held up.

Very satisfied. We replaced the old sand in our filter with these & the result has been amazing. The water is so much cleaner and we don't need to backwash so often. Great product.

This product is trash. Used just over a month & the pool started looking murky & the pump was barely able to pump. Tried the normal method of backfilling & releasing to clean out the debris but that didn't work. Opened up the system & it smelled awful & the balls were nasty, becauseyou can't clean them unless you take them out & wash them. Not worth the money or time it would take to wash them monthly. If I could leave 0 stars i would.

These products are awesome. We struggled for weeks getting our pool clear. And then 2 weeks ago we switched the sand for the balls and our pool is crystal clear!!!! Amazing product

With all the reviews and research, I decided to go with these instead of filter sand. (This is only a one week ownership review), but so far it’s doing the job very well. I also like that it comes with a white mesh bag with a drawstring, so you can wash and reuse them.

Installed these last year and they did well. Pressure going back into the pool was stronger than we'd ever seen. We have an above ground round 24' pool. We set the return nozzle at enough angle, it makes a lazy river for me to float and nap and the debris collects in the very center for quick clean up. Need to take them out for a pressure wash in a bucket I think because return water pressure is no where as good, but pool is still staying clean. I have no intention of putting these in my household washing machine.

These things are so much better than sand!!! Require less backwashing and filter smaller particles from the pool!! Love them and highly recommend!!Also machine washable, have not done that yet.

Switched from sand to balls, and I’m able to get ash and reuse.
