Amazingly useful tool at any tricky digging job with less effort and quicker success.
Amazingly useful tool that saves hours when used for intricate and delicate yet complex tasks. Our utility access was compromised with multiple failures, electrical, phone cable and water. The tool did not fix theses things but made. It possible to do so, quickly and safely. Though it did not move a 2 x 2.5 x 3 ft bolder it did make digging it out of its underground hold far less complex by allowing 2 small tunnels under the bolder giving us access to strapping the bolder to a block and tackle hoist, clearing the roots around it for cutting with a sawsall and finding the hitch points to free it for final removal. No power equipment, just brains and brawn in 4 hours, start, through repairs, to filling in the hole. Helped us to avoid electrical, water, cable tv and phone lines individually while clearing the bolder and especially the massive 4-5 inch roots that were interfering straining all these utilities to the point of multiple failures. Repairs were easy and the job a safe success. Without this farmers master tool, this job could have taken days and required unionized teams to finish everything we did in half a business day.

Excellent gardening tool!
As soon as this hand hoe arrived I could tell it was worth it. It has a nice heft and balance and the blade is solid. I break a lot of hand tools because they're just not sturdy enough, that will not happen to this one. I used it right away going out into the Maine woods to plant ramps (wild leeks). I was breaking through roots and partially frozen soil with ease. It took a few minutes to get the hang of the angle of the blade. Once I figured out that the point is for cutting and the side is for "plowing" or pulling things aside it worked much better. I've used it a couple of times since to plant other early things in different soils. It's too early for weeding, but my guess is this will be the perfect tool for that as well. This tool is definitely worth the purchase!

Great for getting the root
The media could not be loaded. Easy to use and is sharp enough to penetrate the dirt and curved to pull up the root of many deeply rooted plants. Awesome choice and I’m very happy with it.

This thing is AWESOME.
Me: The perfect gardening tool doesn't exist.South Korea: Hold my Hite. This thing arrived wrapped excessively well, looking like a medieval torture device. I was both excited and scared, but the reviews promised amazing results. THEY WERE NOT LYING.This thing cuts trenches in densely weed-ridden perimeters like a hot ginsu through hot butter on the surface of the sun. I dug drainage trenches along a 125ft retaining wall and about 90 feet of fence in less time than it usually takes me to find my car keys.Bonus, this thing can be used for so many things! Carving giant wedding cakes, fending off aggressive cat-callers, removing man-buns in one swipe before they even know what hit them...Endless possibilities!Bottom line: BUY THIS. You won't regret it.

Hand made the old way school
A hand forged garden tool plow. Great price and quality. Heat treated 5160 spring steel. This would cost at least twice as much if it was made in USA. Everybody should have at least one old school forged garden tool.! It should last a lifetime. I used it for weeding my yard and worked great. However, it needs the handle coated with oil or something. I used some old organic flax seed oil on the handle . It does need to be sharpened as well No big deal. You can dig garden furals, weed, scape ground cover and its light but strong. It has that old antique look that I love . I would like to see this company to make other garden tools. Made with fire and hammer, how cool is that. You won't be disappointed.

Almost Great
I bought a Korean hand plow years ago in Seattle. It would still be alive today had it not been unceremoniously buried but a 11 year old. When is was found it was completely rusted, even though the handle (some sort of hardwood) had survived. I have looked everywhere for another and discovered they were weirdly rare, even though it is one of the most useful garden tools we had ever used. In fact, it was pretty much the ONLY garden tool we had used. When I saw this one on Amazon I was fairly surprised. The one I ordered was a but thinner, and didn't have the perfect shape of our first, which had a little deeper curl to it, but I think it will do the job just fine (I hope the handle will hold up as well). My now 17 year old will be thrilled, thrilled I say, to be put to work with this one.

Authentic tool, sturdy wood handle
I am a long-time fan of the Ho-Mi. I lost my first one recently and so searched for a replacement. I can say with confidence that if you are looking for an authentic little spear, this is the one to get. There are plenty of cheap imitations, some are OK, some are not worth your money. It usually comes down to the handle, that is what is going to fail on the tool. The handle on this is even more comfortable and substantial than my original. This tool has my full endorsement for whatever that is worth.

My favorite gardening tool!
I've had this homi for four years and it's still perfect. It's so sturdy and extremely strong and tough. It's comfortable to use, and it has never rusted (after a first oiling) even though I don't do the best job cleaning it after use.
