This highly durable Improved Combat Shelter Tent in Digital ACU is designed for use in harsh field conditions, offering reliable protection and functionality. Review: A great option. - Value for money: This tent weighs very little for a four season, has black-out lining, is just big enough for one with a pack, and took dye and gentle machine washing well. Tent quality: The materials are sturdy and light, the blackout sticks together and there was an odor, but it took rit OD mix, and after an overnight soak, has a nice, less obtrusive color. Dusting with baby powder resolves the sticking. (Do not forget the inside of the fly sleeves, and the cords and insides of the storage bags. A little cornstarch and a large paintbrush did the trick. The poles look like very thin metal, they interlock with the grommets at each corner, the only sleeve is in the attachable fly. After dying the tent, the two clips on the inside of the fly loosened, with one detaching. I will glue them both back down. It came with spare buckle-clips for the fly, six solid aluminum tent-pegs, gutted paracord cordage, and sealant. Review: Spacious - Ok, beware: open this tent in a well ventilated area! It’s smells of rotten vomit that’s cooked in the sun, no joke. Ive been in the military over two decades, so this is not an unfamiliar smell to me. It’s like taking old school wet weather gear, rolling it up as-is after a wet and muddy week in the field, having it shoved to the bottom of a stinky duffel bag, and throw it in a wall locker in a non-climate controlled garage and leaving it for a couple seasons before opening it up again. It’s a smell you just never forget. My co-workers are less than pleased with this smell that has permeated our building today. With all that said. It is in fact a full complete system: with the storage bags, patch kit, extra buckles, guy lines, tent pegs, rainfly, tent, and poles. All the zippers worked perfectly (which is something to be said of any military equipment). There are no rips or tears and set up exactly like I remembered, once you get the system down it’s not difficult to do. Other than a little bit of sand and dried leaves, it was clean - though I did have to literally peel it apart (who knows how long it has been sitting rolled up in the storage bag). I prefer this tent style over the newer version issued to me cause it’s longer and wider and taller, giving me more space for myself and my gear for the many nights I sleep in the field during training events. I’m letting it air out with some dryer sheets and air fresheners for a few days, should be all good and ready to use when I need it. If you set it up correctly, you’ll stay warm and dry. For anyone else that buys this, make sure you fully air it out, dry it, and clean it, before rolling it up to store it. This compact tent really is worth it and doesn’t take up a lot of space or weight when needing to carry it to field sites. This would’ve been a five star review had it not had such gut churning smell.

US Army 1 man tent
This tent is awesome. Superfast shipping. The tent was brand new, never been issued. I was expecting a used surplus item. The tent itself is superb. Waterproof and stands up to really nasty weather. Easy to put up but smells a little funny if you're not used to military type smells. The inside doesn't allow light inside the tent. That's cool. I'm 6'1" and I had plenty of sleeping space, but my head hit the top while sitting up in it. Repair kit was included and all parts present. All in all, an excellent purchase. I rated it 5 stars but would rate it higher if I could. I highly recommend this product and its vendor.

Slight sticky issues, overall 9 out of 10
Ok, this one man tent is incredible, very durable even with the seam tape falling off, also stayed dry and warm on two separate trips. Again incredible tent. Issues with the rubber coating, it sticks incredibly bad, once deployed no real issues with that. However i used vasaline to lube the poles in order to get them through the sleeves. This seemed to help keep it from sticking as bad. Again i would buy this again knowing that issue.

Have to update my first review.
I sent this to my son. He said he opened it and the smell was so bad it could knock you over. His words, “ smells like really bad toe cheese”
