Absolutely delighted with these needles, I suffer from arthritis I my hands but find these are really to use !!! They're so nice to use, I bought myself a set of circular needles which I've never ever used n my life, and was surprised how easy they were to use, would recommend these to anyone !!!!

I had hoped this thread would be thicker. It is very fine & can only really be used for most kinds of embroidery if you add it to other thread/floss.The only time I could use it on its own, was when I did tiny French knots to give the impression of tiny gemstones.

Very good value for money. 16 pairs for the price of about 4 pairs. I do lots of knitting and prefer bamboo needles. Its great that they can be stored all together so that I am not searching everywhere to start a project.

What I received was not silk thread and in my mind it is more of a metallic thread, It is comprised of a thin metallic like flat thread wrapped around a white synthetic thread. It is incredibly thin, I had to treble it before I could use it in embroidery. Also when pulled the white thread shows through. Saying all this I did keep them instead of returning it as I think I will find use for them, but would not recommend then to others nor would I purchase them again.

Beautiful colours but it is very difficult to find the end of the thread. You can see a thread but it is where the thread started to be put onto the spool so you cannot pull it out. Not like other spools where the end of the thread is lodged in the top of the spool. My sewing machine does not like this thread so I can only use it for hand sewing.

These threads are not very good poor break very easily loops of threads sticking out I would have sent them back but needed to take them to Australia.

This emboidery thread is absolutely stunning. The colors are brighter and more saturated than they appear from pic on site with a metallic sheen that doesn’t overshadow the colors or mute them. Plus the threads come in a cute ziploc bag that you can reuse and a 10% coupon on next purchase.It is important to note, however, that as a beginner at first I found this thread difficult to use. You have to handle it with care. The threads are extremely fine and if you are not careful the thread can kink up in certain areas like jewelry wire (it may have some small percentage of wire?) and once it kinks up, it’s done. I will say that even though it’s fine, it is pretty strong.Also, doubling the thread can lead to more kinking if you aren’t careful. It’s important not to thread too much on your needle at once because it is likelier to kink the longer it is.Definitely use a a 10 or higher embroidery needle that is short and very sharp so the thread can glide easily through the fabric. If it catches on something, that is when it can kink.Also knotting is a bit trickier. I’m still working on that, as I don’t like to have a bulky knot.That being said, it is so spectacular I couldn’t bear to return it. With practice, you can get the gist of it. Just remember that unlike your average thread, you have to be gentle with it if you are a beginner. It’s definitely rewarding once you get the hang of it.I also found if you do jewelry making it is great for wire weaving with higher gauge wire, and to use with fabric jewelry. In any application where you are rotating the threads one on top of the other, or laying down embroidery stitches that cross or lay on top of each other, the colors really stand out.

Ob diese dünnen Garne für irgendeine Maschine geeignet sind, das kann ich leider nicht sagen. Ich habe mir diese verschiedenen dünnen Garne für meine Weihnachtsstickerein gekauft. Ich habe zu einem normalen Garn (Stärke 10 oder 20) dieses Metallicfaden beigelegt und mit gestickt oder gehäkelt. Somit bekommen einfache Farben wie Rot oder Grün einen schiller. Auch zu weißen Sternen habe ich einen goldenen oder silbernen Faben beigelegt. Es ist für jede Farbe was dabei. Sie reißen nicht aber sind sehr dünn. Auch für ein paar Glocken mit einer dünnen Wolle geeignet. Das muß man selbt probieren. Ich habe Engerl gehäkelt und weil ich keine Gold für die Flügerl hatte, habe ich eine weiße Wolle genommen und die Goldfäden 2-fach mitgehäkelt. Die kommen sehr gut zur Geltung. Ich kann diese Packung nur empfehlen.
