Solid but not to heavy to hold. The handle is a comfortable to hold when drying hair. There are 2 speeds for air flow (High and Low) and 3 temperature options (hot, warm, cool). It also has a separate button that you can press to reduce the heat. I haven't found that feature necessary since there are three temp settings. Cord is 52" length which suits my area.

I love this dryer!
For a low priced blow dryer, this one is amazing! Gets your hair dry quickly and NO part of this dryer gets so hot you can't touch it. I definitely recommend!

Spoiler Alert - Did not buy to dry my hair
I haven't blow-dried my hair since 2002. However, after recently downsizing (& donating 3 hairdryers to Women in Distress) & moving into my RV full-time, I realized my freezer was not frost free (UGH!). This was the least expensive dryers I could find listed. And it was impressive & exceeded expectations. The adjustable heat settings & the attachable diffuser allowed me to focus on areas without heating the entire area up. And it was fun to use & easy to handle. I may just try drying my hair with it.... Who knows?
