Works good enough, no stink
It doesn't work on first application *like some people said worked for them) but did after a second one (as per instructions). Doesn't stinky, easy to apply. Unfortunately won't be enough to finish the project (I bought the largest size, which is good value) but I will buy it again

Great on varnish but not so good on paint.
You need to allow time on paint as it not like old paint strippers that had stronger chemicals but worse for voc and environment. Did the job eventually.

Great product. Works a treat.
I had lots of paint splashes on the internal wooden beams which were very unsightly. I tried all sorts to get rid to no avail. However, Bartoline TX 10 did the job superbly well. You sometimes need a second coating for bigger and more stubborn areas but more often than not the paint came off with one coating. Do though leave it an hour to do its job. Excellent value for money and the beams look so much better.

Okay product
I used this product to strip original automotive paint from a plastic part. The TX10 Stripper softened the paint sufficiently, but it did not lift it off cleanly on its own. Unfortunately, manual scraping was still required, which left fine scratches on the plastic substrate. Since the goal was to avoid mechanical abrasion, the product didn't fully meet expectations for this application.

Looking forward to using it to tidy up old paint !... - UPDATE !
Delivered as expected - will be looking forward to using it to clean up old paint ! 5 Stars. UPDATE: Really enjoyed using the Bartoline stripper to clean up over-paint on windows by the painter ! ( I really don't know why the painter just couldn't wipe off over-paint whilst painting window frames ! Anyway, the Bartoline Paint and Varnish Stripper has done the job well ! Just applied liberally with a clean paint brush where required on the windows... Left the paint and varnish stripper to work for about five to ten minutes... Then scraped off with a scraper to remove the paint ( came away easily ), and where I couldn't get in with a scraper I worked the area with a clean new disposable scouring pad to remove the paint... Wiped off as much of the stripper as I could with clean kitchen towel paper from the windows, and then cleaned the windows with a good window cleaner... Job done and paint free windows ! Well worth the effort !!

Useless don’t bother
TDLR- it’s useless don’t bother I brought that paint remover to remove paint on a tomahawk head for a customisation job. It was soak for 3hrs30min and did nothing at all… Utterly useless! The worst part is that it is a cheap paint and even using a metallic scrubber didn’t remove much paint at all after over 3hrs of soaking in the paint remover. Very weak product that works only on some type of paints but not even sure which ones. Don’t bother there are way better alternatives out there. The instructions on the tin are comical - apply one layer for 1hour and maybe apply another layer if required for another hour. The thing was literally soaking in it for over 3 hours for NO visible results. I won’t ever buy a product from that brand again. 1/10 and I can’t even do a return as I brought it 6 months ago 😭

Amazing!!
This is brilliant if used correctly. I used it to strip my kitchen tile paint that had a few layers of paint. My best advice is dab it on thickly with a brush ( don't do brush strokes) leave it for one hour and put a second coat on then leave overnight. Make sure all the paint is bubbling and nearly falling off before removing. If you don't wait to that stage it will be more messy and will leave bits of paint still on. I will insert pictures of the different stages for reference. I would 100% recommend and definitely will use if needed again.

It works if you're patient and don't follow the instructions!
I'm in the process of stripping the paint off an aluminium bike frame with this stuff and did some experimentation. The first thing you need to know about it, is it's about 1/8th the strength of oldschool Nitromors, if you're looking for something that works as well as that old stuff and as fast then you're going to be disappointed, but with some patience, prep work and time, you can get this stuff to work, but be prepared to be working on it over several days! The instructions tell you to splodge a load on, leave it an hour and then apply another coat and leave again, this does precisely nothing and only seems to serve the purpose of making you waste loads and buy more! So here's what I did: 1) Pre sand with a 240 grit paper to break through any clearcoat and give the gloop a chance to penetrate the paint, be careful not to go too deep and scratch the metal underneath! Also remove any decals if you can, if they're clearcoated over it might be worth sanding through to get them off as they will prevent the gloop working properly. 2) The next part is down to you how to go about it, but personally I would say to do small areas and individual tubes rather than the whole frame in one go, as this stuff dries out really fast once unwrapped and loses its potency while you're trying to scrape paint off another area. Select the area you want to work on and cover it as thickly as possible, but instead of waiting an hour and applying another coat, wrap the area in clingfilm, making sure it's touching the gloop fully and then leave it for several hours. (I left mine overnight, it doesn't smell so you can leave it indoors somewhere warm, just away from pets or small people!). 3) If you've covered the area with enough, after a decent amount of time the paint will almost fall off with little effort, although you may find that a stanley blade will also come in handy for peeling stubborn areas and getting into corners etc. 4) You will probably need to repeat this process at least once more in order to get any awkward areas or anywhere where the gloop wasn't effective, which will happen. It can also be a bit weird with primer, it'll either strip it along with the paint or it won't touch it at all, this isn't a problem if you're only planning to repaint the frame as some prep sanding will be sufficient to primer over, but if you want to polish that part, then it's time to get the sandpaper out! In all, it's not as horribly unusable as other brands, but unless you know someone with a paint shop who can order the really good stuff, then this is good as you're going to get! Pros: Doesn't smell evil so you don't have to spend hours outside in the garden freezing to death. Cons: It's not oldschool stripper so you won't be done and dusted in an afternoon!
