Hi Trissa. Thank you for reaching out to Maybelline regarding the Color Sensational Ultimate Matte Lipstick. If your product is unopened and stored at normal room temperature, it will perform as expected. If your product looks and smells the way it normally does, it is good to use. Unless stamped with an expiration date, our products do not expire. Once your lipstick has been opened and used it's good for three years after first using.

Q: Does this lipstick provide hydration to the lips?

Hi there! The Maybelline New York, Color Sensational Ultimatte lipstick delivers more intense color with an extreme matte finish and a comfortable, lightweight feel. If you are looking for extra hydration, we recommend using our Lifter Gloss which visibly smooths lip surface and enhances lip contour with high shine for hydrated, fuller-looking lips.
