A cool little present for the hottest SBC out there (puns intended)
The Raspberry Pi is a wonder of modern computing. Originally at $25, the cost has increased to match the increasing capability of the platform. Instead of a hugely cut-down operating system, you can now load on server-class Linux onto it, and run your whole house off these things. You can run minecraft servers, file servers, web servers, the lot! However, each time you add another service, you increase the load on the CPU, and with increased load comes increased temperatures. Although the device is only, like 20Watts at full power, that's still a lot of power in a small black rectangle. The Pi can get really very hot over time. If you run a heavy minecraft server, the Pi can get so hot it can burn you. Therefore it's imperative to get some heatsinks. I tried to get some of those gel heatsinks, but they didn't seem to work so well. Instead, I got these aluminium ones which are a lot more conventional. They come with sticky tape underneath so they stick right on to the chips. So far, they're working really well, and keeping the chips at reasonable temperatures. Will have to see how well they work in the summer inside the enclosure, but I got one with lots of ventillation. there's loads of them in the packet, enough for 7 or 8 RasPis, maybe more, so you don't have to worry about messing it up if you accidentally drop one, there's always a spare. Great value for money, and works well with both a Raspi3b and a raspi4.

Good for projects, also good to add extra cooling to Raspberry pi units.

Good, but ...
Good product but not so good with quality control. I received two packs of the third smallest, but none of the smallest size. Not a big issue, but it does not reflect well on the QC of the company.

Fitted as expected.
The heat sinks fitted my Pi perfectly. Remove the cover on the back of the required heat sink to reveal the sticky area and apply to the relevant component. Job done.

Acquistato per risolvere i problemi di surriscaldamento di un adattatore USB-Ethernet. Ho usato il dissipatore 7x7x3 che ho applicato sul chip di conversione fra USB e LAN. Ora i problemi di thermal-throttling sono spariti e l'interfaccia funziona costantemente alla massima velocità. Consigliato, probabilmente li userò per altri progetti, visto che i dissipatori sono parecchi. Il prossimo finirà sul controller dell'SSD.

Za taką cenę bardzo dobry zestaw radiatorów. Są w czterech rozmiarach i pasują do wszystkiego, a jeśli któryś jest za mały można przykleić kilka mniejszych. Super sprawa.
